I got the wattpad app on my phone now too, so now I can write when I have free time at school as well! This means there will be more typos since I'm not used to typing on phones, but it should still be readable, I hope!
-Aaron's POV
He had been sitting in dead silence after this weird "Z" guy had left, when Ein started stirring. By stirring, I mean he woke up and then not even a second later the cage had been shifted the other way again, and now Aaron was flat on his face like he had been when he first woke up in here. "Calm down, stop moving!" Aaron growls, trying to regain his balance.
Ein stops and asks, "Where are we?"
"I honestly don't know; we must be inside somewhere though." At least I can trust Ein now.., Aaron thought to himself. How could Ein be the bad guy here if he was also in a cage?
"So.., uh, Ein?" Aaron asks awkwardly into the silence.
"Yeah?"
"Just what do you remember from high school?"
Ein Cocos his head to the side in confusion, "What do you mean? I remember Aphmau, you, and some others always around Aphmau, Why?"
"Something's just not adding up." Aaron says through gritted teeth, because you tried to kill us all; you never loved her, you hurt her, too!
"Are you okay? You look ang-"
"Shut up, it's nothing you need to worry about. I was remembering someone.., else."
"Who?"
"A Werewolf who I knew through Aphmau when I was a freshman at Falcon Claw University. He claimed he loved her, but that wasn't close to the truth. A few years back he tried to kill some of Aph's friends, I among them, and it was clear he didn't actually love her for herself, just for how she could sway people with her personality alone. He hit her right in front of me and acted like it was nothing."
"Wait- Wait, he tried to kill people? And this was a Werewolf from our high school? I can't think of any who would do that.."
Aaron silently glared at Ein for a moment before responding, "Yes. I don't quite remember his name."
"Whoever he is sounds terrible! I hope everyone was okay afterwards."
"Oh boy, we were until-" until a few days ago, Aaron says to himself.
"Until?"
"Never mind. Let's stop chit chatting and figure out how to get out of here." Aaron concludes, looking around the room. In reality, the room was completely empty except for them and the cage; they simply couldn't escape as they were now.
Aaron tried pulling the bars apart in hopes his strength as an Ultima will decide to work without his ears and tail showing up as well. He didn't know if this odd version of Ein knew what he was too or not, and he didn't want to risk it.
"That only works in movies." Ein comments, watching Aaron try and fail at his task.
"Shut up, and do something! I don't know when that psycho's coming back." Aaron retorts, still trying to pry open the bars. There was a groaning sound from the page's bars, but it was quickly silent again. Aaron growls, "This is useless!" And collapses on the cage floor again.
"H-Hey! We can't just give up, can we? We have to get out of here before he comes back, like you said!"
"But, how do you propose we do that?"
"This won't work, but it's worth a shot, I guess." Ein says as he throws himself into the bars, a loud clatter and rattling sound being made. The cage itself goes berserk, and both are lying face first on the floor again. "Never mind. Bad idea."
