Visiting Rio Carnival is one thing but is an experience second to none! The countless street parties (blocos) are an amazing sight but dressing up and joining in with a samba school for the Sambadrome competition is a totally different experience. The sheer energy of the event cannot be truly described, with rhythmic drumming, dancing and singing coming from the crowd.
