Chapter 2: Dance of Union

Its been three days since the deep, grizzly, voice carried over the intercom and announced the rules of our situation. Kill to escape or get caught and killed. We all had swore never to harm each other, but then again, who would keep to it? I've been hanging out with Kaili, the Super Highschool Level Therapist, and Adrianna ,the Super Highschool Level Artist. Ever since the announcement, We have been meeting up with Ahrem and Caden. Recently, Caden has been very close to Ahrem. I wasn't sure as to why, probably to find a way to hit on me, but who knows? "Hey girls!" We heard Ahrem call out while waving.

Ahrem and Caden were sitting together at the top of the bleachers. Caden had his arm around Ahrem, while the smaller boy was snuggled up next to him. I grinned at this and realized it wasn't me that Caden was hitting on.

"Did you two hear about Kylie and Will getting together?" Kaili called out in a playful tone. "Kylie? You mean the Super Highschool Level Fashion Designer  right?" Ahrem responded crawling down the steps towards us. "Yeah. She and Will ,the Super Highschool Level Gambler, are aparently boyfriend and girlfriend." I said flatly, rolling my eyes at the statement. "Who would want to date in this hell hole?" Ahrem joked, while Caden snuck up behind him. Once again, i Rolled my eyes as Caden scared the defenseless Ahrem. He jumped up and proceeded to kick Caden head first into the pool out of rage. Caden resurfaced and laughed as we all followed.

"Anyways, Colemun figured we should throw them a party to celebrate, also thay we should call him 'Cole'" Adrianna says stepping next to me. "Who is all going?" Ahrem asked in what seemed like interest or concern. "Everyone is as far as I kno-" Adrianna was cut off as her and Ethan were both dragged into the pool by a soaking wet, laughing, Caden. Adrianna and Ethan both let ou a shriek before they disappeared underneath the shaky water surface. Kaili and I laughed as they both swam up and began a very heated splash fight with Caden.

"You know someone is probably planning a murder right?" Kaili whispered so the others couldn't hear. "Yeah. I thought so too, but didnt want to worry anyone" I replied in an equally low ,worried, whisper. "Yeah same. I didn't think anyone would try to murder each other but then again. This is a big group of strangers" Kaili spoke with a poker face stronger than Beyoncé's eyebrow game. "Welp", I said standing with my back to the pool and my arms out "i gotta have some faith in my classmates!". Then, as on que, i threw myself backwards into the pool. Allowing the Revealing feel of water rush over me. I turned my head back to a standing Kaili, lost in thought, who wasnt in the pool. "Hey. K.K. come onnnn. The water is nicee!" I shouted as my now drenched clothing began to weigh me down. She smiled sweetly and got a running start to the pool. 'Atleast we can still have fun' i thought as a huge wave of water from her canon ball came rushing towards me.

After the pool we had went to see Kylie, who had told that she would be more then happy to give us designs for our dresses and then to Laure, who could tailor them. Caden had decided that he would rather practice Basketball with Damein and Lexi than go dress fitting. He had pecked Ahrem on the cheek, before leaving to change. Ofcourse we had to tease him about Caden liking him. It was the sensible thing to do in a situation like this. 'This dance is gonna be fun' I thought as we began to enter Kylie's workshop.

The next day

I had walked to the cafeteria due to a pleading note Cole had left. It had stated that he needed the cake to be iced but didnt have the time himself. It was the day of the party and he apparently was rushing to have everything set up correctly.

Once i had walked in, it was like i was inside of a fancy club. There was a discoball hanging over a brightly colored dance floor, and streamers decorating every wall. There was a dj booth and it was about 30 minutes before the party. Cole waved me down and led me into the kitchen post haste. "Okay listen. So....in my time. I forgot to apply Icing to the cake and was wondering if you could along with a cute couple message?" he asked hopeful.  I nodded and said "Yeah thats fine. Ill have it done in 15 minutes!". His faced seemed to comepletly de-tense as he processed my words. "Okay good. Try to hurry so you can also have time to get dressed for it. It is a very special night after all!" he said leaving the kitchen.
