The Trials

Chapter 4: Gaming Season

Its been a week since we had been thrown into our first class trial. I can still vividly recall the screams that rung out from beyond the fence that separated us, the innocent, from Colemun, the 'blackened'. After that killing Gwyn had locked herself up in her room. As we passed the 200 hallway, we could hear her cries. Kaili and I had went and attempted to get her to come out, but no prevail. At the moment i was in the Cafeteria with Caden. Who has taken a strong fancy for me. "Ahrem! Come over here" Caden called to me as i recovered from my deep thought. "Yeah hun?" i yelled back while walking into the kitchen. "I found this really cool thing! Its called adDragon Fruit and its pink-ish so i thought you would like it" He says handing the the purplish fruit. "Well. For one its purple. And two. Lets eat this thing!" I joked back as he grabbed a knife and cut the fruit right in half. I grabbed a spoon and scooped up some of the fruit as he just took a huge bite out of the center of his. When he pulled away, he had seeds all over his face and juice was dripping off his chin. "I guees thats one way to do it" i said as i walked up to him and licked the juice off his cheek. "Sooo delicious" i said in a low tone, while making sure to drag out my words. His cheeks went bright red and he began putting a lot of juice on his lips. "Hey! There is some here too!*points ay lips* Would you help me wipe it up?" He calls out pukering his lips and leaning towards me. I pretended to get close until he closed his eyes and i quickly grabbed a napkin and pressed it against his mouth. He spit out in suprise and i began to walk out, "im gonna check with Kaili. Try to take care of your situation" I say as i exit the cafeteria. Then, from the back of the kitchen, i hear him mumble. "My balls have never been bluer..."

I knocked on the beige wooden door. It opened to reveal a perky and possibly glowing Kaili. She had on a pair of overalls and a fuzzy pink sweater underneath that. Her shoulder length marune hair was put back in twin pigtails. Her clear sky blue eyes had a hint of green in them today, transforming them into a deep ocean teal. She smiled sweetly, "Hey ahrem. Whats up?" she asked with her usual happy tone. I grinned and proceeded to tell her, "Alexia had invited us over to play on this console that had been made for her earlier!".
"Well obviously!!! What else am i doing*waves hands in a dramatic matter* but wheres your boyfriend?" She asked with a devilish look in her eye as i rolled mine. "He is going to go hang out with Micheal and Damien. So im not worried. Lets go!" I exclaim before grabbing her hand while we ran off towards the one-hundred hallway.

Upon reaching her door, we saw Kylie and Gwyn waiting outside of it. "Why is she taking so long?" Gwyn thought aloud as i stared in confusion. "What do you mean?" I asked before the most reached thought overwhelmed me. 'A murder!' was all i could imagine as we all began to bang on her door. Screaming her name loudly until our lungs hurt. I backed up and charged the door with all my might. Only budging it a bit, while i recoiled and regained balance. We then had heard the door knob rumble and click, in anticipation, we got quiet and stared at the door. After a few seconds it finally opened, revealing a normal room with a normal looking Alexia, standing there with a plentiful amount of curlers in her hair. "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE BANGING AS LOUDLY AS YOU DID ON MY DOOR. I WAS TAKING A SHIT AND SUDDENLY I HEAR SCREAMING AND BANGING. WHAT DO YOU FOOLS THINK GIVES YOU THE RIGHT!??" she yelled as a strong look of annoyance washed over her face. We all began laughing out as i attempted to explain, "W-we *wheeze* had thought you were dead or something*chuckle* its time for us to all play the game remember?" I barely expelled without gasping for air. She shook her head and proceeded to respond, "Well FIRST. No one gonna kill me! Imma baddddddddddd bitch. Second, I still have 15 minutes. Why yall so early?" We all looked at eachother in equal confusion and checked our digital notebook, given to us by the mastermind. It read the time to be 6:38. Almost exactly 17 minutes, before we were supposed to arrive. She shook her head and gestured for us to come in, "let me fix my hair and we can start. Yall sit down and get the game started". Alexia then went back into the bathroom as Kylie began to put in the game. However, in the middle of turning on said console, we heard a loud and powerful flush echo out from the bathroom wall. A few chuckles were stifled here and there, but most of us maintained our posture.  After a good 20 minutes she came out with her black raven hair curled and dangling down. Her dark chocolate skin seemed to resonate with the smell of perfume that was around forty dollars too cheap. She had on a black crop top with a red robe over it. She had on high waisted pants that she would adjust every 5 minutes due to them not being able to fit past her 'thicc' hips and wide behind. We handed her the controler and started up the game. After about 30 minutes of gaming i had realized something astonishing, i was terrible at video games!!

Now, 11:37, Kaili and i had began to make out way back to our room. I made sure she had gotten to hers then returned to my own. When i opened my door, Caden was there, shirtless and holding a plate of lasagna. "I know its your favorite so i made some for you. And i also now you love it when i show off my killer abs. So i decided no shirt" he finished with a wink. I flopped onto the bed and poked his belly innocently, "You must be talking about another kind of abs. Cause all i see hear is a wittle oh so little tummy". He blushed and looked away annoyed as i giggled and snuggled up next to him. "You know im just joking. Thank you tho. But im real tired. Lets hurry up to sleep". I request as i take a bite of my lasagna. He smiled and stared into my eyes, his warm brown orbs seeming to glow in the dim light of the lamp. As we gazed into each others eyes i could only think of one thing,

This lasagna is cold...

When i opened my eyes, they fell on a defending and very threatening looking Caden. Blocking the door and ensuring of my safety. "I think someone had planned to kill you!" He whispered under all the banging on the door. At first i didnt want to believe it as Caden quickly propped a chair against the door. He hid me in the closet and grabbed the knife i had hidden underneath my computer. Fear overwhelmed my body as the door began to crack and come loose. Caden threw open the lock and the door flew open quickly, he held the knife up and took the most threatening stance he could manage. Then a figure entered, seemingly female, and began to yell. "WHERE IS AHREM AND WHY SO YOU HAVE A KNIFE!!!!" she hollered in panic and anger. Caden threw the knife and began to plead to her, "i didnt do anything. Please believe me. Ahrem is hiding in the closet! I had thought you were here to hurt him thats all!!!" he said turning on the lights. I opened the closet and stepped out, unharmed and dreadfully tired.
Kylie. With a horrified look, spoke "theres a body...".
