I love you

We stood in front of the luxurious beach house.

We took our bags in and settled for lunch.

Diana told me his favourite food which is disgusting to me.

It was rice with mushroom sauce.

I just hated mushrooms and I always will.

But since I needed to make him happy I cooked, served and ate it.

"Dad,mom doesn't like mushrooms and she's eating them" Derek shouted.

I stopped as I gave him a glare.

"Is this true Michelle cause if you don't like it you can just leave it"

"No don't mind Derek he's just playing games"

I stopped and gave him another glare

"Seriously dad,she doesn't like mushrooms" he said again

"Michelle"

"OK I'll prove it,I'll take a bite of this and go to the washroom for no reason"

I closed my eyes and used my index finger and thumb to close my nose and ate it,after that I was gone.

In the washroom I spit out everything and went back inside and it went like that till the bowl was finished.

Eventually Mike found out but didn't say anything.

After lunch I decided to explore the rest of the beach house.

As I walked pass the hall I realised many pictures of his late wife were everywhere which meant my work was going to be harder.

I walked outside and admired the beautiful garden.

As I was about to take sniff of a flower,I felt a cold hand rapped around my waist,I turned and realised it was a man .

"HELP HELP!!!!!" I shouted

Later on he brought out a knife indicating me to keep quiet.

"Shhhhh. We don't want anyone to see me" he said still holding a knife

"Well we don't want anyone to see my fist" a familiar voice said

I knew it was Mike and yes it was.

He gave him a blow. The man tried to hit but he held his hand and gave him a punch directly in his nose and he run off with a bleeding nose.

Wow he really knew how to fight.

"Michelle,are you OK" he said worried

"Yes I'm fine"

There was the feeling of love again. He was worried I thought he'd be angry I went out on my own but he actually got worried. I think the plan is coming in place.

It was soon evening which made me happy because I was exhausted .

We ate dinner and went off to bed awaiting what will come to us in the next day.

The next day

Today was surprising because Mike woke up first which gave a little time to sleep.

I got up and took a bath and walked out the room.

I met Mike winning an arm wrestling match with the children.

I walked in greeted everyone and they responded.

"Mom,dad is always winning can you help us" Maya said

"No let mom play against dad" Derek said.

"Yes yes" The girls said

"Please mom" they all said

"Fine"

I walked to the table where they rest their hands and sat on the floor.

I could see Mike was shy because he was diverting his eyes everywhere but at me.

"Let's make it fun. If I win dad would have to take us to the beach and if I lose I'll take you guys,how about that"I said

" Yes mom,I like it. Father do you accept"Derek said

He thought and said ,"I'm in"

"OK guys come help me" I said to the children

I put my hand on the table and he put his on mine,our eyes on each other as we started.

The kids trying their best and me trying mine.

It was already written that Mike would beat as but I was wrong we won.

The kids started cheering and me following them.

"We're going to the beach" they chanted

We got ready and Mike drove us there.

As soon as I got down I said,"Let's see who can catch me first"

"I can,I can" they said trying to catch me.

Mike got out and stood there smiling.

After a while the kids came to him and said they couldn't catch me so they decided to call Mike to take over and he did .

At that point,I started to run as fast as I could then Mike tried to catch me.

I swerved when got closer and changed my direction from left to right.

He increased his speed and caught my hand.

He rested his other hand on his knee and was panting.

I kept looking at his hand on mine. The thought of it was simply amazing.

He then said,"I've caught you now ,you can't escape"

"We'll see about that"

"Huh"

"Help Help,this man wants kidnap me" I shouted

His face changed, then people started to come around.

"Leave her alone" a man said separating our hands .

I quickly run

"You're mistaking,she's my wife I'm not trying to kidnap her" Mike said

As I got to a far place I shouted,"He is my husband.

I continued running.

He got out of the crowd and chased me again.

And everything started again him chasing me and me swerving.

He caught me again and we fell on the white sand.

Him lying next to me and I on the other side.

We laughed and laughed.

And he was actually laughing .

We got up now sitting on the sand.

I stopped laughing but he continued.

I looked at him and smiled.

I remembered the reason I was here and said the one thing I've been keeping in me ,my love for him.

"I love you"
