{6} THE DATE

Ivy decided to stay at Mias house for a night, much to Jaeden's dismay and begging for her to stay at his house.

When she arrived to her best friends house, Mia immediately asked for all of the gossip between Ivy and Jaeden.

Which is why, an hour later, both of the girls have dived into Ivy's love life. "You guys are dating?!" Mia screeched out of happiness.
"Tell me everything"

"Okay. Okay. I will," Ivy laughed at Mia's straightforward persistence. "We were talking and we admitted our feelings then he asked me to be his girlfriend"

"Awwww yes" Mia squealed.

"He is amazing, we've only been dating for a night! But- I knew him before and he is a sweetheart" Ivy gushed, her phone beeped from a message and she looked down at it, no surprise it was Jaeden messaging, it's like he knew they were talking about him.

The pair decided that they were going to meet up at the boardwalk, so Mia insisted she would be dressing Ivy.

"Okay where these pants and this sweater-no no no this sweater, yeah this one and I'll curl your hair then do some smoky makeup" Mia decided, waving her arms around and running around the mess of the room.

Jaeden just texted saying he was going to pick her up instead, so the girls had even less time to get Ivy ready for the date.

Ten minutes later Jaeden texted that he was at Mia's house. "Have fun girl, stay safe, don't be nasty, try not to run into your mother or go home alone" Mia started instructing.

"I know. I know Mom" Ivy laughed after hugging Mia.

When Ivy left her house she looked to her right to see Jaeden waiting outside of his car. She ran up to him and engulfed him into a large hug.

Jaeden politely opened the door for Ivy, she was so warm and fuzzy on the inside from his gesture.

Ivy's eyes scanned over the content of his boot and saw all of his instruments messily shoved in, cables Notting up and twisting around other instruments. Jaeden noticed her confused eyes wandering over the boot and chuckled.
"Awww. Is my baby jealous of my other babies?" Jaeden laughed.
"No! Shhhh" Ivy placed her index finger onto his plump, rosy lips.
"Babe, they aren't living things!" Jaeden bickered, laughing at her jealousy.

He said babe. When Ivy repeats it in her head it sounds really stupid. But it made butterflies appear in her stomach from the one word.

"Hmm?" Ivy asked.
"I said we are at the boardwalk now" The pair just laughed and got out of the car, when they both ended up sealed to each other's side- their hands grasped and they both laughed at having the same thoughts.

Jaeden dragged me by my hand to one of the many buskers- that started playing 80's music. They both held hands and started to dance along weirdly to the blissful music.

"Do you want to leave?" Jaeden randomly asked as Ivy stopped dancing. "Wha- No I'm fine here. As long as I'm with you!" Ivy smiled but pulled him out of the growing crowd.

They both decided to sit on a bench under a large tree. Jaeden got out his key from his car and carved their initials into the tree.

"You know? I've never been on a proper date, like this" Ivy whispered, dragging her finger across the carving.

"What? Am I-"Jaeden looked really surprised at the information, but smiled a bit when Ivy cut him off with a nod.
"I thought you would be stealing every guys heart" Jaeden joked.

"Damn. Do I really look like I could score any guys?" Ivy laughed as a breeze blew past, causing her to hug into Jaeden's side.

"Definitely. You're beautiful" Jaeden muttered using two fingers to pull her chin up then sweetly kissing her.
