Chapter 5: How To Save A Life

Junmyeon P.O.V.

It's hard. Telling someone you don't love them, but then you actually do. What's worse is that you can't love again. She ran off, where to? I don't know.

With a sigh, I stood up and faced the mirror that was near a cabinet.

"You're immortal, you can't love her" I told myself.

"You're immortal, you can't love her" I repeated, trying to convince to myself as I faced the mirror.

"You're immortal, you can't--"

There was a soft knock on the door and I jolted awake.

"Junmyeon? You in there? You awake?" Minseok-hyung said as he slightly opened the door to look.

"Yeah? I'm in here and very much awake. Is there something you need hyung?" I asked.

"Well, you gotta start moving if we want to make it to our third day at school and..." He paused.

"And?" I asked, curious to what this hyung will tell me.

"You see, I've met my mate and I was wondering--" He shyly told me, his cheeks turning to a light shade of pink.

"That you'll bring her here to meet us?" I cut him off. He is actually quite adorable when he's shy.

"Yeah... Is it okay Junmyeon?"

"Of course it is hyung! How 'bout you bring her during lunch  tomorrow and we'll have a barbeque?"

"That'd be great! Thanks!" Minseok said and he silently closed the door.

"Wait! Hyung!" I called out.

"Yes?" He said opening the door again.

"Min Hee. Was she here yesterday?"

"No, she wasn't. After you asked for the time you got back the other day, you just suddenly collapsed, and had a burning fever and we had to carry you to your room." Minseok hyung explained.

"Oh ok. Thanks. You can go now." I told him and he closed the door.

It was only a dream... but why does it seem so vivid?

Min Hee P.O.V.

I fell asleep on the couch after that tiring day with Suho-ssi, only to jolt awake because I kissed the floor with a loud thud and a concerned father by the doorway.

"Min Hee! Are you okay?" He asked in concern.

"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks appa but I really need to move if I want to make it to school on time." I told him, while rubbing my head. Never knew the floor was that hard...

I stood up, ran to my room, took and shower and put my school uniform on. As I was heading down the stairs, I heard the doorbell ring so I answered it.

"Min Hee noona!" Sehun said in delight as I opened the door.

"Yes Sehun?" I asked the person in front of me who was drinking bubble tea.

"Walk with me to school noona!" He said and I obliged. I got the lunch that appa prepared, locked the door, and began my way to school.

"So what's going on?" I asked him.

"Nae?" He looked at me with a confused face.

Then sudden realization hit him. Very good Sehun, very good. (Note sarcasm)

"Ah well, I need your help with a girl..." He told me, his cheeks turning pink.

"Who is it?" I asked.
