Bickslow X Reader

Chapter 8

Nobody's POV

The group were back on the road again and all walking together talking.

"So how about we normal humans start with our training next clearing" Lucy smiles.

"Normal? " (Y/N) asks slightly confused.

"I think she means the people without the abnormal strength and abnormal recovery rate" Bickslow looked at (Y/N) smiling with his tongue out. "Abnormal! Abnormal! " Shouted his babies. 

"Way to flatter a girl eh" (Y/N) smiled at him winking and sticking her tongue out too. 

"Eheheh. Sorry bout that baby" Bickslow says to (Y/N) still with his tongue out. 

A light tint of red came upon (Y/N)s cheeks as bickslow draped his arm around her again. 

"Awh look at them~" Azura cooed. 

"Wh-where did you-you go? " (Y/N) stuttered half flustered and half in shock from her and laxus' sudden appearance. 

"Huh?  Oh right well remember a few days ago when I said I'd thank laxus for 'helping me in your situation', welll~ let's just say I thanked him a little while ago. " She smiled at (Y/N) winking.

(Y/N) was the only one of the group who understood what she meant by 'thanking' just by looking at laxus' prideful look mixed with a tint of a blush and also azuras similar look.  She had to hold onto bickslows arm for support to stop her falling over from shock from the thing that azura just admitted that to her. 

"Huh?  Azura are you okay you're breathing heavy! " Natsu shouted, concerned for his sister. 

"Pfft-HAHAHA! " (Y/N) started crying from laughter.

"W-wait did they do what I think they did?" Lucy whispered to erza completely red and flustered.

"See-seemms so" Erza says with a similar expression.

"Wai-wait!  So they fucked?! " Gajeel picked up on everyone's conversation easily as he practically shouted this statement. 

This caused everyone to fall down in a 'what the fuck' way, the people who didn't realise were all red whilst the people who knew fell from pure shock that gajeel just blurted that out.

"DON'T SHOUT IT OUT LIKE THAT IRON FOR BRAINS" laxus shouted at gajeel basically confirming what everyone thought. 

"Eheh- I guess it's out now" Azura sighed. 
"We-wendy!  No we didn't!  Don't worry its okay!  Nothing happened! " Azura panicked at Wendy trying to wake her up from passing out from the sudden bombshell. 

"I-its not tha-that...  Its-its thah-" Wendy tried saying pointing over to (Y/N) and bickslow who fell in such an awkward way it was stupid. 

(Y/N)s boobs we're on bickslows face as she realised she panicked and started skwerming which just made things a million times worse as she also slipped on the loose dirt trying to push herself up.
(Y/N) finally got up and recoiled into herself from embarrassment leaving bickslow with a sly grin on his face and blood dribbling down from his nose. 

"Bad time to be wearing a low cut top eh   (Y/N)" Gray laughed.

"Shu-shut up gray" (Y/N) moaned completely red.

"Haha! Lemmi cool you down" Gray says to her putting his hand on her head.

"Thank you gray" (Y/N) said with a small smile.

Bickslow POV

Jeez why am I getting so annoyed he's only cooling her head with his ice, it's not like they're close or anything and grays with that water chick anyway!

Before I knew it (Y/N) noticed I wasn't actually thinking the way I usually do and was looking at me with a worried look.  I smiled trying to reassure her and she returned it, Soon after talking to the girls.

"Don't worry as far as I can tell she only has eyes for you and has done since she first joined" Azura whispered to me calming my nerves. 

"She's right you know" Laxus looked down at me with a slight smile. 

A light tint of red covered my cheeks as I looked at (Y/N) who was laughing with the girls as Wendy fussed over her making sure she was okay. 

"When are you going to ask her out anyway? " Azura asked now standing with laxus' arm around her. 

"Hu-huh?!  I-i don't know?  I mean does she actually like me enough to date me? " I say looking more serious compared to my normal behaviour.

"I thought it was obvious honestly" Azura says proud of herself.

"Haha!  No you didn't,  you only found out a few days ago after she told us how long she's liked him for" Laxus laughed.

"And how long that?" I ask slowly coming back to being myself. 

"Around about a year" He says back.

I look back quite shocked realising its not only almost been a year since (Y/N) joined but she also liked me for that amount of time.

"Hey, you just said that she's liked me since she's joined but it's only been just over 1 month, not a year. So has she liked me before she even joined up? " I ask kind of confused at this point.

"You have a point. " Azura says to me realising she was with her during the time at the island. 

"We were there for 16 years and around 15 into that she started getting affected from her memories and that's when she first brought up you, obviously I didn't actually know you properly by that point so I shoved it off but now I think about it...  It is weird. "

Nobody's POV  ~{time skip}~

Everyone had started training together, azura training the dragon slayers to up their attacks and lucy with basic blue fire.  Gray and Erza we're training together and freed and evergreen going against each other too.  Bickslow was mixing in with freed and ever by using his dolls and also training his body with Erza and gray.

~{timeskip}~

The group decided to stay at an inn actually taking lucys decision.

Azura got a room with laxus.
Lucy and natsu were forced to share a room putting their money together to barely afford the night. 
Erza got a room with Gray and Wendy to cut expenses. 
Gajeel, sting and rogue got a larger room because they all forgot to bring enough money for each of them. 
The thunder legion brought their own private rooms along did (Y/N). 
And happy, Carla, miyu (azuras cat), lily, lector and frosch all got a small room together too. 

Everyone went to their rooms to get ready for the night after hearing (Y/N) and azura would pay for everyone to have dinner at the inn.  Everyone soon met up and started eating after spending just under half of what (Y/N) and azura had brought with them, they finished and everyone started for their rooms again.

"Everyone can have a lazy day tomorrow because we're actually at the town we need to be at.  I'll go looking around tomorrow for the person so everyone meet here 6pm sharp. " Azura exclaimed, Soon walking to her room with laxus.
