Becky slowly awoke in the hospital. She had a heart monitor attached to her, with also some stitches on her wound. She was startled when Dr Winters came in the room to check on her. "Becky, you're awake. Thank heaven." Becky turned her head to look at him. "Where's Jeff?" Dr Winters smiled, "You don't have to worry about him anymore. He's dead. You did it." Becky sighed. "Where's Bella?" Dr Winters didn't say anything for a minute. But finally he answered, "Bella's ok. She's still alive. We just managed to save her, she's in the room next to us." Becky's eyes widened in shock. She was astonished at the fact they managed to save Bella. "Can I go and see Bella? I'm feeling alright, honestly." Dr Winters walked over to her, "If you feel up to it, then I guess I can let you see her. She's sleeping right now though, however there's no saying if she'll remember anything when she wakes up. But, I feel like you'd be alright with her not remembering." He unhooked Becky from the machines she was attached to and helped her to stand up. She said she was alright and was able to walk without his help, so Dr Winters opened the door for her and told her that Bella was in the room before this room. Becky then made her way to Bella's room.
She saw her child in the window. She never wanted to see her hooked and attached to medical machines, like a heart monitor. Slowly, Becky opened the door and walked over to Bella. Her teddy was sat on the end table positioned next to her bed. Becky pulled a chair and sat next to Bella. "Bella, I thought you were gone. I'm so glad you're still here with me. The boogeyman's gone now. There's nothing to be scared of now. There won't be for a while." She stared at Bella's sleeping body. She still couldn't believe they saved Bella from a bullet wound. She had never felt so happy. However, it soon died. Suddenly, the heart monitor was no longer beeping. It was just an endless noise. "Bella!? Bella!? No! No! Please, no! Bella!? Please wake up." Becky had tears behind her eyes. She shook Bella, it didn't have any effect on her. Her lifeless body layed there. Becky looked at the teddy bear. Then back at Bella. Now she had lost her. Becky then thought of one thing to do. She slowly rose up and walked out of the door. She turned right and headed to the stairs. A few minutes after, Jamila ran in the building. She past Bella's room, only to see doctors and nurses trying to awake her. She never woke.
Jamila was heartbroken. She went to see Becky, but she wasn't in her room. However, she somehow knew where she was. Dashing up the stairs, Jamila headed for the rooftop, passing other patients as she ascended. Once she finally got to the top, she saw Becky. Standing on the ledge. It was small, but big enough for someone to stand on it. The breeze passed through Jamila's hair and she said, "Becky! I know what's happened. Please, don't do this. It's not the answer." Becky turned to look at Jamila, thinking about everyone she had lost. "Jamila, I've lost everyone. My parents, Baxter, Amy, and now Bella. I can't live like this anymore. I've had enough of it." Jamila replied as she almost cried, hoping to convince Becky not to end her life, "Becky, I'm begging you. Please don't do this. I've lost Amy, I'm not losing you too." The breeze was strong enough to almost knock Becky off the edge, but she stopped herself from falling, "What was the point in me living? How did I end up surviving?" Jamila answered, "You fought. You fought for your life. You tried to fight for everyone's life." Becky said before turning back around, "Yes, now there's nothing left for me to fight for. Jeff is gone. My mission is done."
Becky then rose her arms out to the side. "Becky! No! Please don't do this," Jamila begged. But it was no use. Becky spoke her final words, "Have a good one Jamila." Then Becky relaxed her body, and leaned forward. Jamila ran towards her, hoping to stop her from falling. "NO!" But it was too late. Becky was gone. Jamila ran to the edge and watched as Becky's body fell to the concrete below. A stream of tears ran down Jamila's face. Becky was now gone. Now Jamila had lost two of her best friends. There was nothing she could do about it. Suddenly, Becky woke up. She sat up wondering what had happened. Did she not die? She stood up and looked around her. She was in front of the hospital. She looked up to see Jamila looking over the edge. "Jamila! Look! I'm alright!" Jamila couldn't hear her. But Becky was shouting as loud as she could. How could Jamila not hear her? Out of nowhere, she heard someone scream. Turning to her right, she saw a woman. She was looking at the floor, like Becky wasn't even there. But soon, Becky realised the woman was looking at the floor behind where Becky was standing. Slowly, she turned around.
There was her body. Her lifeless body laying on the floor. Then Becky realised why the woman couldn't see her and why Jamila couldn't hear her. She looked back at the woman to see her running towards the hospital, probably to get help. Becky didn't feel the slightest bit of a breeze, but yet her hair was still flowing. Causing her to slowly look behind, she heard a soft voice. "Mam?" Once Becky turned around, she managed to break out a full smile. A young girl at the age of six stood before her, holding a teddy. Bella. Becky went down on her knees and her daughter ran towards her, giving her a hug. Becky's heart almost felt complete, but there was just one thing missing. Then from behind Bella, Becky heard a bark. Bella looked behind her and smiled. Becky saw a sheepdog with long black and white fur. A happy smile on his face as he saw his owner. Baxter. Becky held her arms out for Baxter to run in them. He licked her face and Becky smiled, then Baxter claimed Bella as his next victim and licked her face. Becky stood up and looked at them both.
She never expected it, but Becky did have a happy ending. Finally reunited again with Baxter and Bella. It never ended how she would've thought it would. She always thought about the people she had lost, but now she had a chance of seeing them again. She sometimes thought about her life. How cruel it was to her. But finally she was at peace. Something she never thought she would get. She held Bella's hand and Baxter was beside her. They all went into a bright light they saw. Now, they were all finally together. Finally, they were the family Becky had been waiting for.
