She followed me up the stairs and when we got to the bedroom, started ripping my clothes off. As she touched me, I felt a different feeling of love, and for the first time, felt a weight lifted off of my chest since Matthew died. That's when I knew it was time to give her the promise ring.
"Liz, I hope you know I love you so much." I said as I pulled her face towards mine. "I never want to leave you. So Liz," I said as i took my necklace off with the ring I got from my mom, "I want you to have this, as a promise ring. That no matter what happens, we won't ever end this, and if we do, we do it on good terms"
"Ria, I love you so much too, that's why I don't want this," she said as she pushed it back towards me. "I don't think I want to be with you anymore. I want to be free. I was going to tell you tomorrow at lunch, but I can't accept this and then do that tomorrow." I felt crushed. I feel so stupid. I put most of my clothes back on and ran out the door. I was crying but I was so drunk what just happened hadn't really registered. I went and found Zali, pulled her to her feet and kissed her. She kissed me back and I picked her up, as she wrapped her legs around my hips I carried her through hallway. I opened the door and dropped her on the bed. As we were making out we were taking each others clothes off. I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer to me as I kissed down her body. She grabbed me by the hair and pulled my face towards hers. She whispered, "Fuck me good bitch."
