[2] Disguise

Ross

I called levi fast. How can he? This can't be. This can't be! Levi came rushing down to the car where I parked. Onyx is still sleeping though, no signs of being conscious and still fast asleep.

"Ross what happened?" He's more composed more than me. Although Onyx is not murmuring anymore, I cant still hear how he murmured the word "sapphire" earlier. But I shouldn't mention that this happened. It will be a big war between those two.

"Nevermind. Just wake him up and let him sleep in the guest room." Naglakad ako palayo. Tears started to form and my heartbeat went faster than it normally would.

I drove all the way to that place. Si ross na ang bahala kay onyx, gusto ko munang mapag isa ngayon. The night was cold, it had an eerie feeling. The trees were tall and dark and I can sense that there's someone following me. I glanced at my side mirror but no one was there, no cars or whatsoever. Siguro nga guni guni ko lang iyon.

I parked my car and got out. I went to the nearest bench and sat. Dito ko naisipang pumunta. Im currently siting on a bench on top of a cliff overlooking the city lights. Naisipan kong tawagan si Ross. Sinabi ko sa kanya ang plano kong pumunta ng Japan kasama si onyx. Siguro in that way magagawa ko na ang plano ko.

I spent almost an hour and a half contemplating about my life. I miss my family, my friends, I miss him. If only that didn't happen. Masaya na siguro kami ngayon. I was about to drive when my phone rang.

"Ate." The other line of the phone was silent. I miss him so much. I want to hug him so tight and talk about the things that he loved the most. I want to spend more time with him, if only I could.

"Timothy, how are you? I miss you so much!" The caller on the other line laughed. He had a such manly voice now. The last time I called he was just 13, just hitting puberty and now he's 18 already.

"Im fine ate. I miss you too. Don't worry I'll meet you really soon!"

"Wait—what? What soon?" I already had an idea but I still can't fathom the fact that it'll happen. Did he just?

"I'll be going home on the 15th. See you ate. I love you!" He ended the call. Tears started to form. I was breathing heavily. My brother, my brother will go home and I can't contain my excitement. Matagal ko na siyang gustong makita at eto darating na siya.

"I know you're listening up there. Don't worry I'll hug him for you." I started to drive. No worries were left and no sad tears rolled down my face. That time, I was completely and genuinely happy.

Kararating ko ng mansion nang bigla akong hilahin ni ross. We went inside and talked about our trip and the activities that I wanted to do. She also asked me about my plan about Onyx. My plan was already final. No one can change it anymore. I discussed my plan. She seemed skeptical at first but agreed on the latter.

"He knows your physical appearance. He noticed it awhile ago. He already knew that I was not the Lady in Red." Ross told me about Onyx observations. Seems like he was really eyeing on me awhile ago.

"How will you do it if he recognizes you?" I don't know either. Pero kung sakali man dapat hindi niya malaman. Napag usapan namin kung ano ang gagawin. He shouldn't know. No one should know.

"I have an Idea!" She smiled at me and I already had a clue on what was going on her mind.

"You want me to do what!?" Hindi ako makapaniwala sa sinabi niya. Turns out that my idea and her idea are completely opposite. Pero kung tutuusin nga naman mas maganda ang plano nito. The closer I am, more information about their mafia and more plans on how to infiltrate their organization.
