[3] Friend or Foe?

I woke up at exactly seven in the morning. My bags were already packed and I just need to prepare myself. I loosened up a bit and went to the bathroom and did my morning ritual. I also changed my clothing style. No more jeans, just dresses.

Im currently wearing a black dress and I styled my hair like how its supposed to be. Naninibago man, I still wore my heels, grabbed my purse and quickly went outside.

The morning breeze was marvelous. We both loved this kind of weather, how I wish he's here beside me. I began to reminisce our memories but my inner thoughts were interrupted by a loud noise. The car stopped right in front of me.

"Good morning Mr. Randel. I am Elise Adrel and I'll be your personal assistant." He squinted his eyes, he was scanning me from head to toe and God knows how nervous I am. I can't even breathe properly.

"Where is she?" I let out a big sigh. Onyx did not recognize me. He observed his surroundings hoping to see her but he doesn't have any idea that she's already standing in front of him.

"I am very sorry but she can't come. She has lots of errands to do." Onyx nodded. I escorted him towards the private jet and assigned him to his seat. My seat was right behind him so I can observe his actions. Our jet took off immediately.

Isang tapik ang gumising sa akin. Hindi ko namalayan na nakatulog na pala ako. I looked at the window and noticed that we already landed. Agad akong tumingin sa harapan. Wala na ang taong nakaupo rito. I quickly looked at my side at nagulat ako nang mapagtantong katabi ko na siya.

"Startled? Wake up. We're here already." He stood up immediately leaving me behind. Tumayo na rin ako at agad ko siyang sinundan. The body guards were all lined up when I exited the jet. Maybe Levi and Ross were already here too.

The trip was, paano ba ie-explain? One word—Nakakabagot. No one talked while we were inside the car. Halos ilang minuto rin ang byahe papunta sa lugar na tutuluyan namin. Onyx was just sitting there. Baka tulog o ewan. Tinamad siguro magsalita.

After a couple of minutes we arrived at the place. Napasulyap ako sa kanya. He was still sleeping. Maybe he had a hard time sleeping inside the mansion. Marahan ko siyang tinapik at nang mahismasmasan siya ng onti ay ipinagbuksan ko na rin siya ng pinto.

Traditional japanese house ang tutuluyan namin. The place was surrounded by nature and there was also a big pond. Patuloy na naglakad si Onyx papasok sa mga kwarto, matutulog siguro. Hinayaan ko siya at nag ikot ikot muna ako.

I took out my phone and my laptop. Even though I'm on vacation I still have things to do. Ross was sitting beside me while Levi was there watching anime. Mukha siyang bata dahil nakadapa ito at kumakain ng popcorn. Ross was encoding something when she called my attention.

"Mar—Elise. Your mom." I grabbed her phone and answered the call. "Anak." Her voice was sweet and calming. Tears started to roll down my face. I just miss her so much. I never thought that after all this time I would still be the same girl who cries over little things.
