Remmie himself was once an innocent child. Before he wandered the Carnoq plane he had a home and a bed. Though, his parents were not as innocent as he. Unspeakable things would happen, the sort that scar you. It scarred Remmie. Remmie was driven mad by the longing for a better life than the one he had. He, then, found his way to the Protector. The Protector promised him he wouldn't have to feel the pain. That the sorrow would be rolled back. In return for the child's worst fear confessed, and a tear of sorrow's ugly mess. Only the Storyteller knows what Remmie said that day, but one thing is sure, his tears of sorrow were not genuine, no matter how much they seemed to be. Nonetheless, his deal was struck, and the Protector made the house a nest in which he could feed on the evil. Life flourished and bloomed for Remmie. He had love, at long last. The greatest remedy. But, over time, there was a feeling of dread that began to grow. It started slowly at first, in his stomach, then up to his brain. Finally it found it's way into his heart. Remmie could not feel anything but fear of some ominous presence that he felt even in the most isolated of places. The hollow dread grew until it swallowed him. He was driven mad. He was altered, on the inside. And somewhere along the line, something in Remmie snapped. It shattered and left him empty. He turned to suicide, but he was never able to follow through do to one inconvenience after another. And eventually he ran away. Not just from his home, but further. Remmie risked unsafe travels through one of the earths Krevices. And ended up in the Carnoq plane, now permanently stuck in a lower dimension. The Protector let loose the evil within. After so long he couldn't hold it off any longer, and it was released. And the Protector awaits for a new person to serve. One that shall not break his deal.
