JANE HOPPER was a simple girl with that simple little 1980s lifestyle. Every Sunday night she'd have her friends over for a Dungeons & Dragons Campaign she'd been setting up weeks prior, and every afternoon she'd ride to their houses on her old, rusted bike that stood proudly presented on the Byers' front porch.
Jane was beyond content and satisfied with her laid–back life. Each day was relatively similar and that's just how she liked it. But disruptions always some to those least expecting them.
The once go–lucky Jane had began to crumble to pieces after her step brother, and best friend, Will Byers, disappeared one early November evening. Her mind became shallow and her thoughts were darkened by sorrow. But then, out of the depths of Mirkwood came her light: A boy dressed in a dingy hospital gown, with a tattoo on his wrist, was going to save Jane Hopper.
