Chapter 1

I wasn't the usual girl you would find walking in the corridors of a public high school, I wasn't the nerd but neither one of the popular girls, I was nothing I was invisible to everyone, I wasn't noticed and that didn't bother me at all. I had my friends and my mum, everything was perfect, I had my little world with Summer and Lucy my two best friends at the time and to be honest I still consider them my best friends, I never actually had a dad and I was not bothered at all I figured out that if he wasn't looking he didn't care so I didn't care at all. But then something changed, I don't know if I was the one changing or the people around me.

It was the Halloween dance where juniors and seniors are mainly invited to get drunk, smoke and have sex and obviously dance, but I wasn't interested in any of those I just wanted to go home and sleep but Summer and Lucy decided to drag me here and have fun with the seniors and maybe something could happen, i doubt anyone would go for me, I wasn't the rich bitch with fake boobs or the popular girl that would have sex with anyone to get attention. No thanks I would rather keep my virginity for myself instead of giving it out to anyone as if i'm a sex machine. Across the room I could spot a big group of popular guys with obviously the usual slut around them, but who cares? Not me They are just a bunch of kids that have money and think the own the school, just because they are advanced and of course everyone has to lick their bum if they don't want to be next joke. But I then felt something weird, I quickly felt warm for then feeling too hot and the moment I saw him from far away talking to his mates laughing and flirting with every pretty girl in that room I knew I felt something I didn't know what it was, but it was something strong and painful at the same time.

I saw him looking over a few times maybe he was looking for someone I thought or maybe he is looking at my friends, but then our eyes met it was weird cause I saw him around a lot he was popular, he was attractive best friend with the quarterback, and all the girls at his feet. But in that moment I saw him looking at me up and down, I saw his eyes eating my body; I knew he wasn't interested but then our eyes met again and the clock stopped, everyone stopped in the room it was just me and him, we were so close and so distant from each other, I could feel my heart pounding so fast, I couldn't look away I was locked to his eyes I wanted to get closer to him, to look at his eyes closely. I wanted to feel his steady heart beat, feel his muscular body around me..

"Sofia, Sofia, hey there, can you hear me?" I could hear Summer's and Lucy's voice but they were so distant.

"Yeah.. I can hear you, what happened?" Omg did anyone notice me looking at him or him looking at me? What if everyone saw?

"Nothing why? Sofia seriously we just want to get a drink!"

"Sorry I wasn't paying attention I was.." Damn Sofia you were what? Looking at Matt? seriously why can't I just go home and hide myself for the rest of my life?

"You were what? Day dreaming seriously Sof hurry up or we are going to miss the first dance!" Thank god they didn't notice what I was looking at, well at who I was actually looking at.

"Yeah I am coming" I quickly look where he was standing with his mates, but he was gone; of course he felt sick after looking at me for just a second, I should had known.

"Guys I need go to the toilet quickly, anyone want to come?" Please I need someone to come with me, I don't want to be by myself if he is out there cause he is obviously somewhere near here.

"Yeah I need to go anyone else?" Lucy said.

"Yeah me too you guys?" Thank god Lucy and Summer are coming with me.

"Nope thanks" We start walking to the toilet and I quickly turn scanning for him among the thousands of students but nothing he's gone with his mates and the sluts too of course.
