Chapter 8

Cameron's POV

I was busy driving Jenna,Jess and Ben to the 'Surprise '.I'm sure the girls will love it , I'm not too sure about the guys though.I'm quite shocked that Ben and Jess can sit in the back together after what happened to them.When Ben had broken it off with Jess he had told her that it was because he liked this other girl Maggie, which was a lie.He only broke up with her because he thought she was too good for him.Poor guy, I think he has low self esteem.Well anyway we are about three minutes away from the surprise.

Jenna's POV

We are on our way to the surprise and I am so excited.I cant wait and by the fact that we have to wear warm clothes when it is Sunny outside means that it is going to be cold.Yay! I love thing to do with the cold.Actually I just love the cold,I love how on rainy days you can sit inside and have a warm cup of hot chocolate and just be lazy.I also love being in the rain , feeling the little droplets of water on my face.My dream is to have a passionate kiss in the rain, and too make it even better lightning in the back round.Wouldn't it be perfect like you kiss and then everything is lighted up around you by the lightning.Aah just perfect.

"We're here"Cameron snaps me out of my thoughts

"Oh yay can wait" I say and jump out of the car .I look up to see a sign saying Grand West.Wow this place is huge I say as we walk to the entrance.I walk through , I think it is called a metal dector yeah that sounds right.But before I do I put my bag onto a treadmill thing.I pick it up on the other side.I wait for the rest to finish.

"So can you please tell me now what the surprise is ?" I beg Cameron and put on my best puppy dog face.

"No you will have to wait and see not much longer now we just have to wait for the others" he says tapping my nose

"Fine" I say like a grumpy five year old.Finally ever body this through and we start to walk to our surprise.Yay.It suddenly gets colder as we walk further.I look up to see a kiddys ice rink and then through some glass doors I can see a big one.Yay I love ice-skating.I used to take lesson back in England and I also won a few competitions.Ooh I have a plan I'll make a bet that if I cant skate properly then I will give Cameron R50 and if I can then he can give me R50.Ooh or I'll just race him and win.Yeah I'll go with that idea

"Cam how about we race and the loser has to pay the winner fifty rand ?" I ask

"Okay sure, but just so you know I'll win " he challenges

"Okay sure lets shake on it " I say extending my hand ready to shake his

"Okay deal" he says shaking my hand.We walk to the ticket booth

"Hello how many will you be today ?" The lady behind the desk asks us

"Um twelve " I say

"Okay that will be two hundred rand please "she says getting twelve tickets

"Here you go"I say taking out my purse

"No my treat "Cameron says and hands the money to the lady "Plus you'll be paying me fifty rand back when you loose " he challenges again 

"No you'll be paying me the fifty rand " I say giving him a cheeky grin

"Oh its on Patterson " he says smiling.He leads my to the place where we get our skates.We have to give in our left shoe to get the skate.I hand the lady my shoe and she gives me my skates.I take my socks out my bag and put them on.I them put on my skates they fit perfectly.I wait for ever body else to put on their skates.When everybody is done we head for the ice.I'm the first to get on.

"Ah old friend we meet again "I whisper to myself .I feel arms wrap around my waist.I turn to see Cam

"Ready for our race ?" He asks giving me a cheeky grin
