Hi, it's me (cause when is it not), back with this cute little short story. I'm still working on Cupid's Bow, if you have not read yet. And I have another called the Pianist and Broke Guitar Player. Go check those out but enjoy this story too! I'll try to keep the updates coming sooner!

"Grandma, can I tell you a secret?" Castiel asked. His grandmother looked at him. The thirteen year old boy he had grown up to be.

"Yes, Dear." She beckoned for him to come closer. He scooted closely.

"I like boys." He whispered. "Please don't tell mom or dad! You know they'd kill me!" He pleaded. His grandmother nodded.

"It's alright. You're always welcome here Castiel. And I will always love you for you. I will always be here." She said with a small smile.

Castiel then cried. He was on his way to his grandmother's. She wasn't around anymore. She died that same year he had talked to her by a murderer.

"Grandma, I'm sorry, it's just you promise me.." Castiel cried, now standing beside her grave. "I miss you so much. I wish I could get you back. My parents hate me and blamed me for your death. I just hope you send something to me that will make my life better." Castiel said as tears rolled down his face. "I love you, Grandma
" He kissed his fingers then placed them on the grave. "And I will never let this go."

He entered her house that he practically lived in. His parents had kicked him out two years ago. His grandma took care of him, only being 14. He had come out to his parents and it didn't end well.. Now, he was eighteen, five years it's been. Five.

Castiel slumped behind the door. He clutched his side's and cried some more.

He left to get some ingredients from the market down in the town. He was usually greeted by Gabriel and Charlie. He picked up the food, paying for them, then made his way home. On the way he saw a homeless man.

"EXCUSE me?" Castiel said, getting the man's attention. "Would you like something to eat?" As he approached closer he saw it was not a man but a boy, who looked to be the same age as him.

"Yes, please." Castiel smiled and pulled out a loaf of bread from his large basket. The boy took it. "Yes, thank you." He growled, his transformation was a wolf. The ears, nose, teeth, tail. He ate the loaf in a second. Castiel stumbled back.

"Who-what are you?!" He asked, frightened. The boy smiled.

"Well for starters I'm Dean, the wolf man." He said. Castiel gulped. "Besides, I'm not going to hurt you. You're too cute and helpful." Castiel's frightened tone went away and was replaced with a smile. He stuck out his hand that Dean stared at for a minute.

"I'm Castiel," He introduced himself. Dean looked back up at Castiel before shaking his hand.

"Can I just call you, Cas?"
