"Allright class! Does everyone have their passports?"
The weekend had gone by quicker then I had expected. Everybody was saying goodbye to their parents. Hunter and I stood next to each other and watched everybody. Our parents werent usually home. Our mom was always at some fashion show and our dad was allows at one of his many hotels.
"Ok. We have to hurry so we dont miss the plane."
As we made our way to the terminal I saw many people looking at us. We were in many magazines due to our fame. A little girl ran up to my brother.
"Are you Hunter Conley?"
"Yea.'
The little girl ran back to her parents after getting a autograph from my brother.
"Blair!"
"Lola. How many bags do you have?"
I laughed at my brother. He should know that Lola doesnt pack light. She had two luggages and 2 duffel bags along with a purse.
"Lola. I agree to sit with you as long as you dont make me look at a bunch of celebritys in magazines."
"Blair, you could be one of those celebritys if you would tell your parents that you want to sing."
"I agree with her."
Lola has this dream that I will become a singer one day. I like to sing. I just dont know if I sing good. Hunter and Lola have told me many times that I am amazing.
"I dont think so Lola."
The plane was extremely quiet. It was pretty peaceful other than the fact that Lola was laying down on me fast asleep.
"Hey Blair."
I quickly turn around to see Blake.
"Hi Blake. Whats up?"
"Well I was just going to go get water and I was wondering if you wanted anything."
"I'm fune. Thanks for asking."
Over the weekend I took Blake to the mall so that we could get to know each other. I mean if we were going to be partners we might as well. He was actually really nice and I was shocked about somethings.
I found out that he isnt really a nerd. At first I thought he was offended when I told him I was suprised but then when he started laughing I knew it was ok. I found out he lives with his mom, sister and stepdad. Apparently his mom and dad got divorced after his sister, Brook was born.
"Now, your family's are here to take you back to their homes. We will meet tommorow at noon. You are free to do as you wish for the rest of the day."
Blake and I made our way towards our family. They seemed like nice people. There was a mom, dad, a little girl, and a girl our age.
"Hello. You must be Blair and you must be Blake. Its wonderfully to meet you."
I was about to say hello when but she just wouldnt stop talking. I thought it was pretty funny how excited she was to meet us.
"I'm Linda, this is my husband Paul."
He waved a quick hello to us. Then pointing to the little girl Linda said that she was Emily.
"The older one is Abbie."
We greeted each one of them and walked to the car.
When we got to the house I was amazed. They had a beautiful house and it was right on the water.
"Your house is gorgeaus Linda."
"Why Thank you. Abbie please show Blake and Blair their rooms."
As we made our way around the house Abbie explained the town a little.
"If you guys need to drive somewhere just tell my mom or dad. They have a car for you both to use."
We had bedrooms right across the hall from each other.
I began to un pack my bags. My phone began to ring with Lola's ringtone.
"Hello?"
"Blair. This place is horrible!"
She was whispering as if she was trying to make sure someone didnt hear her.
"Why?"
"Well for starters the house is just plain creepy. The people are extremely strict and finally they dont have normal food. They said we were having some wierd cow brain recipe. I know your going to say were in Australia that doesnt happen but it does. Apparently they only come here for summer vacation."
"OK. Lola you need to calm down. You can last one night. Tommorow we will figure something out. I got to go now."
"Ugh ok bye."
I walk over to Blakes room in a pair of shorts and crop top that says "Hakuna Matata" on it.
"Blake?"
He opens the door wearing basketball shorts and no shirt. I could get used to seeing that.
"Are you done drooling over me?"
I begin to blush and he smirks.
"I wasnt. I was just gonna ask what you were doing tonight."
"Apparently were all having a party down at the beach. Hunter and Lola are gona be there."
"Ok. When are we going?"
"A hour."
I turn back to my bedroom and plan on what to wear.
I finally decide to wear shorts and a shirt with the phases of the moon on it. As I head down stairs I pass by Blakes room and notice its empty. I find him down stairs and we walk down to the beach.
"You look nice today."
"You dont look to bad yourself."
I notice how nervous he looks. I would ask Hunter to see if he was ok.
"Hunter!"
As I jog over to Hunter I see Lola already dancing.
"Hunter, Blake looks reakky nervous. Do you think you can talk to him?"
"Yea Sure"
I make my way over to Lola. We dance to the song "Timber". I sneak a few glances towards Blake and see that he is talking to Hunter. After spending the week talking in class with Blake i've grown a slight crush on him. Being best friends with Lola I had to tell her.
"Lol'z?"
"Blair. Whats wrong?"
"I have to tell you something."
As i drag her away from the group I can see Blake watching us.
"Ok. So you know how we tell each other who our crush is?"
"Yea. Who is it? Does your Australian family have a son our age?"
I laugh at her cause knowung her she would go after the boy if they had a son.
"No. Its. Ummm Blake."
"Well dont look now but here they come."
I saw Hunter smirk at Lola. They were up to something. Those two were hopelessly in love but they wouldnt admit it to each other.
"What are you both up to?"
They just chuckle and look at Blake.
"Blair. Your brother and I are pretty good friends. I actually play foot ball with him and he told me I should tell you something that I have been keeping a secret for a while."
"Ok."
"Blair. I. I like you."
Picture of Blair to the side.
