(Hermione's POV)

Today's the day. It's the first of September and I'm on my way to King's Cross to catch the train to my new life in the wizarding world. It was quite a shock when last month a lady named Professor McGonnagal came to our house and told me I was a witch. But now I'm really excited about my new life and I can't wait to board the train and meet all the other kids who are just like me.
I've got a feeling this is going to be a good year for me.
(Fred's POV)

I can't believe the summer's over already. George and I hardly got to prank anyone, but that was only because Mum threatened to take our brooms if we did. It was all just because loads of ministry gits kept visiting and we had to be on our best behaviour for them. I don't want to get back to any of the lessons or the homework, but Georgie and I have a few new tricks up our sleeves that we can't wait to try out on some unexpecting little firsties.
I've got a feeling this is going to be a good year for me.
