"No one? You couldn't find a single person?" Riju stands up from her throne growing irritated.
Buliara bows her head "No ma'am, you know how the people there are."
"Yes, Kakariko isn't the most civilized place in Hyrule, but you would think at least one..." Riju says as she paces around the room.
"Not a lot of people in line to handle a problem that isn't their own."
"Buliara!"
"Sorry ma'am," she looks to the ground. "I know this is a friend of yours, but how irresponsible of them."
Riju stays silent for a moment. She couldn't disagree. "Never the less I intend to find the baby a suitable home."
Buliara nods.
"I am tired of discussing this. I am going to the Gerudo canyon stable to personally speak with Piaffe about the bandits." Riju starts walking to her room.
"What did her highness decide to do about the problem?" Buliara asks, oblivious to what they really talked about.
Riju enters her room and starts packing up a bag. "The basic, she'll send out a group to hunt them down. But I just want to go speak to Piaffe about it. He was very upset about the whole issue and I need to keep him happy because if it weren't for that stable our town business would be in a world of hurt.
"I will go get my things then," she says as she turns to leave.
"I'll meet you at the front gates in fifteen minutes."
~
"So it will be dealt with by the end of the week?" Piaffe asks doubtfully.
"Yes, on my word." Riju promises.
"Thank you so much," he says with a bow. "Will you be spending the night ma'am?"
"Yes, it would be dark by the time we got home if we left now. Please prepare two beds for us."
"Yes ma'am," Piaffe snaps his fingers to a young boy sitting at a near by table.
The boy jumps up to carry out the command of his master.
"Now what is that amazing smell?" Riju asks as her stomach rumbles. The stable is covered in the smell of freshly cooked fish.
"Oh, that's Seanna, she's a young girl from Lurelin village. I'm sure she would be willing to share, she's just outside." Piaffe motions to the cooking area just outside of the stable.
"Thank you," Riju nods as she walks outside. There she sees a young girl, no older then nineteen, bent over a cooking pot. Her brown hair tied back behind her head.
As soon as she notices she quickly stands up and bows.
"No, please sit," Riju says as she pulls her jacket around herself.
The girl takes a seat and looks back to her soup.
"What are you making?" Riju asks taking in another deep smell of the food.
"Just a fish soup, ma'am. Would you like some?" The girl asks.
"If you don't mind," Riju takes a seat next to her. "I've been on the road all day."
"What brings you out here? if I might ask," the girl pours some of the soup into a bowl and hands it to Riju.
"Piaffe recently had some bandits attack, so I was just telling him what the queen intends to do about it." Riju takes a sip of her soup. "This is amazing. Piaffe said you were from Lurelin, is that where you learned to make this?"
The girl nods. "My father owned a fishery there."
"Owned?"
"He died a few years back," the girl answers sadly.
"Oh I'm so sorry."
"I took over for him though, so it's still up and running." The girl says proudly.
"Very good," Riju finishes her soup and hands the bowl to the girl. "Thank you..."
"Seanna."
"Thank you, Seanna."
Buliara walks up and sits next to Riju. "Piaffe said there might be a couple in Hateno interested in adopting."
"Oh?" Riju looks to Buliara. "Who?"
"A pair of old farmers he said," Buliara takes a bite of bread she brought for dinner.
"They don't want a child, they want a slave," Seanna puts in. "Oh, I'm sorry. That was none of my business."
"You know them?" Riju asks.
"I've heard of them," Seanna nods her head as she answers.
"I'm looking for a family to adopt a friend of mines baby, you wouldn't know anyone interested would you?" Riju asks.
"How old is the baby?"
"Well, it won't be born for a few months. It's kind of a complicated situation."
Seanna nods.
"We are running out of time and need to find someone rather quickly," Riju explains.
"I mean I would consider it if I had the money," Seanna looks sadly at her lap.
"The family has a lot of money, so the child would come with a lot of money, but we try not to tell people that part," Riju says.
Seanna thinks for a moment. "How much money?"
"More then enough to take care of the baby," Riju says. "Wait, you aren't considering this are you?"
"I thought about adopting before, and this seems like a good time in my life to raise a child."
Riju stands up. "Its very complicated though. I don't want to push it on you."
"You said the baby isn't even born yet, so I would have time to prepare anyway." Seanna pauses. "Tell you what, I'll think about it and in a month I will let you know."
Riju takes a long look at the girl. "Alright. Write to me."
Seanna nods.
"Nice to meet you Seanna," Riju turns to go inside.
"Same to you ma'am."
