“Hey, Purple head, you comin’ or what?” aya sakin ni Red. I glared at him at nagkibit-balikat nalang siya. Bakit ba kailangan kong sumama? Kailangan ko pa ng tulog dahil sa napuyat ako kagabi dahil sa wattpad. Ehnehbehyehn. At ilang weeks na rin matapos ang unang atake. Is someone really after me? I mean, Where’s the Danger?
“why do I need to come?”
“because we can’t let you out of our sights?”
“hindi ba pwedeng maiwan nalang ako dito? Safe naman rito sa bahay, hindi ba?”
“hindi rin. Safe ka lang kasi nandito kaming kasama mo.”
“But -- ”
“Black’s intention is to ruin the life of people being linked to us.. and he never did fail.. you know what.. FINE ! do what you want! Stay here for all I care! But if something happened.. don’t expect me running for you!”
“I WON’T!!”
I answered back with all my anger at tumalikod na. Gosh!! I can’t stand that Guy !! Cyan, infront of me, was ready to talk to me but nilgpasan ko nalang siya. I’m not in the mood for another ‘pls understand him’ sermon from him. I went straight to my room , locked the door and buried my face to the pillows.
“Damn it ! She doesn’t even want to be protected!”
“maybe she just needs her personal space for a bit”
“no! I am going with or without her but since she’s not coming, I’m going WITHOUT her. YOU make up your mind.”
I can hear them arguing outside. Ugh! What’s his problem?? I heard knocking.. si Cyan na naman ‘yon.. sigurado.
“Vhai ? Vhai sorry sa inasal ni JR. Baka stressed lang ‘yun dahil sa extended work nila sa Council office. Hindi ka ba talaga sasama?”
Unsad nito. Nanahimik nalang ako. Ayoko talagang sumama.. everyday nalang kami pumupunta sa school ng walang dahilan ni Blue at Cyan para lang hindi mawala sa supervisions nila Red at Gray. May extended kasi na officework sila Red at may Practices si Gray. Wala rin lan nangyayari sa amin.. tss .. ano un !?
“Vhai, sige, hindi ka na namin guguluhin. We’ll give you space. But please, don’t under any circumstances leave this building, please?”
I stayed silent. Narinig kong nagbuntong-hininga si Gray sa labas.
“Bye, Vhai”
I heard him say at silence entered the room. Haiiy. I missed this sound. Matagal-tagal ko na rin kasama ang mga maiingay na mga kabahay ko. Nakalimutan ko na kung anong feeling ng mag-isa. Pero hindi ko ni minsan namiss. I heard footsteps outside.
“Best frieeeeend”
Rinig kong tawag ni Blue. Her voice, with desperation and kind of coarse. I feel like she needs me. Is she crying.. did they do something to her? The Hell with my Personal Time!! My best friend needs me. I unlocked and slowly opened the door only to see Blue kneeling facing my room just inches away from my door holding her phone in her hands and looked at me with teary eyes. Lumuhod na rin ako to make yugyog of her. And to see if nasugatan man siya o ano.
