Why I recommend this book: I love how it isn't just about the relationship between Eli and Kat. The author shows how Kat's parents and friends deal with what has happend to her. How her parents struggle with one of their children being the victim and the other the abuser. She also show's a very realistic view on Kat's friends and their struggle to cope as she gets bullied daily. The relationship between Kat and Eli is very fragile and she doesn't just trust him right away it gradually happens throughout the book. A great read really.
