"Daaaaaddddddaaaaaaaaaaaaa!? Dada?! Daaaaaaddaaa, where are you?" Little Mary Catherine padded through the house, finding Sam on the phone in the living room. "Dada!" She giggled, running to him.
"Hey, baby!" He smiled and hoisted her up with one arm. "No, not you." He told the voice on the phone.
"Dada, I put my socks on all by myself and they match together and match my PJ's." She informed him, pointing at the yellow socks that matched her yellow cat pajamas.
Sam gasped, looking over at her, "No way." He looked down and gasped again, fighting to keep the grin off his face. "Whoa! You're getting so big!" He bounced her on his arm, finally letting the grin fly free. "No, not you." Sam said into the phone as Mary giggled. Sam smiled at her as he listened to Dean on the other end of the line. He pinched the bridge of his nose until finally saying, "Bye, Dean."
"Is that Uncle Dean?" Mary asked as Sam pulled the phone from his ear. He nodded and handed her the phone, smirking a little. "Uncle Dean?" Mary asked a little too loudly, holding the phone with two hands and prompting to be let down. She paced the room in a business-like manner. "Yes, it's Mary. How are you doing?"
Dean laughed on the other end. "I'm doing just wonderful, kiddo, how are you?"
"I'm doing very well. How's your hunting going? Have you gotten a lot of animals?" She asked, looking out at her nails critically. "Dada, we need to repaint my nails later, don't let me forget. Put it on a sticky so I remember." Sam laughed and nodded, leaning back into the couch.
Mary continued to pace while she talked to Dean until Jess came up behind her, lifting her into the air. "MAma! I'm on the phoooooone!" She swatted at Jess' hands, apologizing to her Uncle for the disruption. Jess plopped onto the couch beside Sam, giving a kiss and beginning to chat. "So, you were saying, about being at Grandpa Bobby's?" Mary said loudly, looking over at her parents. "That's close to our house! You should come by and bring Grandpa Bobby and me and Mama and Dada can make dinner and we can all eat and it'll be fun. Okay?"
"I don't know, kiddo. Let's check with Mama and Dada first, alrighty? Let me talk to 'em." Dean said as Sam was coming over and asking for the phone.
"Okay, here's Dada." She told him, handing the phone back to Sam.
"Whaddya say, Sammy?" Dean smiled into the phone. Sam looked back at Jess, who shrugged and nodded, playing with Mary.
"Might as well, Dean. Around 6? ... Okay, see you then." Sam hung up and fell onto the couch beside Jess and Mary. "Well, what are we having for dinner?" Sam asked Mary, pushing some hair out of her face.
"Hmmmm, I'm thinking Cheeseburgers and the Smiley face French fries with ice cream for dessert and some pie for Uncle Dean." She decided, scrambling off Jess' lap and into the kitchen. "And I have to paint my nails! Mama, you come with me to do my nails and Dada, you're gonna make the cheeseburgers. Okay, everybody go!" And with that she took off down the hall and into her bedroom.
"Well, Dada, you heard her, get to those burgers." Jess smacked Sam's butt and ran down the hall, chuckling to herself. But Sam came running after her, throwing an arm around her waist and pulling her back. He tickled her with one arm, using the other to lift her off the ground a little, and she leaned forward, laughing and squirming. They were stopped by Mary stepping out into the hall, hands on her hips.
"That doesn't look like making cheeseburgers to me." She huffed, glaring at the couple.
"Sorry, Ms. Winchester." Sam let Jess down and hunched his back, letting his arms hang down as he sulked back into the kitchen, hiding his smile once more.
