So I did, but I left out the reason as to why mom kicked me out. Eros seemed really interested, and it felt really nice to have a friend who doesn't mind listening to your troubles.
'But didn't Eros say he was also kicked out?'
"Hey Eros?" He hummed in response.
"Why did your mom kick you out?"
Eros was silent for a second, and removed his hand from my hair. He knocked his head back on the couch and sighed heavily.
"Because I am gay." I stood up abruptly.
"What!?" Eros closed his eyes, "Yep, my mom had set me up on countless dates with various women, but I was never interested, so I guess it wasn't much of a surprise when I told her."
'So... He's like me then?'
"What about you August?" He sat up and looked at me with curious guys.
"Well..." I sat back down shyly, "Same with me." This time Eros shot up like he had sat on a tack.
"Seriously!?" I nodded and covered my pink cheeks with my hands.
"Hey..." I felt Eros' hands pry my hands off my cheeks, "Looks like we've got more in common that we thought, ay?"
I nodded and looked into Eros' dreamy eyes. Suddenly, my phone rang.
"Ah, sorry," I checked the caller ID.
'Home.'
'Home...?'
"May I answer this?" Eros nodded. "Of course, would you like me to step out?"
I shook my head, "No no, if anything I'll need a shoulder here."
"Hello?"
"Austy!!!" My face lit up.
"Lacey!!??"
"Mhm! Mommy is sleeping, so I wanted to-" Lacey coughed.
"Lacey, you okay over there?"
"Yeah, Mommy just said I'm sick." Lacey has delicate health and was born with many complications, so whenever she's sick I tend to worry a lot.
"Ah, did she take you to the doctor?" Lacey coughed again.
"No, she said it's just a cold." Mom never takes us to the doctor unless I push for it, so I know she won't take Lacey to get checked out since I'm not there.
"Lacey..." She sounded stuffy.
"Get the thermometer and take your temperature for me."
"Alwight." I decided to talk to her while to thermometer took it's time.
"Was mommy mean to you?"
"No, she took me to eat cookies after you left yesterday! She said I'm her favorite."
"Uh-huh, Lacey, is it done?"
"Yeah!"
"What does it say?"
"It has a 100, a dot, and then a three." Oh 'No no no no...'
"Lacey, you have a fever, and I'm not allowed home, tell mom, okay?"
"Austy, but I wanna talk to y-"
"We'll talk after you tell her. Wake her up and let her know, okay?"
"Okay Austy. Wuv you, see you soon!"
"Bye Lacey, I promise I'll see you soon."I ended the call, and groaned, plopping down onto the couch. "
What's the matter August?" I looked at Eros tiredly, "Lacey has a lot of illnesses, and she has a fever, so I'm trying to get her to tell our mom."
Eros nodded in understanding, and he sat next to me, bringing his arm around me and pushing my head onto his shoulder.
"Shh, just relax." I closed my eyes in content and the time vanished as I felt sleep overtake me.
"Oh August~~~" The sound was faint to my ears so ignored it.
"August~~!" It was louder this time but I still ignored it.
"August!" I felt a pair of lips kiss my cheek quickly and I bolted up. Looking around frantically, I found Eros rolling around the couch laughing.
"You're so cute when you sleep, ahh, and the way you drool!" I immediately wiped the side of my face. I felt my cheeks redden and I glared at Eros.
"Meanie."
"Awwww look who's blushing!" I crossed my arms and turned a different direction.
"Aww you're so cute, c'mere." I shook my head sternly. "Well I'll come to you then."
After Eros and I played around and chased each other around his office, he drove me back the Uncle Mark's in his car.
"Ah today was fun." Eros spoke to me as we drove back. I nodded in agreement, "It really was... Do you think we can do something tomorrow too?"
Eros nodded excitedly, "Definitely, how about I pick you up at 9am tomorrow?"
I held back a grin, "Please."

It's Tuesday, 8:50am, and my heart is pounding. I can't wait to see Eros today. He planned for us to go to the ocean today, and he has other plans for the rest of the week. I heard a horn outside, and I knew exactly who it was.
"Coming!"
I grabbed my bag which held the beach essentials, my phone, and skipped outside happily. I found Eros standing outside his car, and he waved my down with a smile.
"Hey!" I stopped next to him and he opened the car door for me like a prince. "Here you are my princess."
I laughed, "Hey! I'm a prince, not a princess." Eros went around the car and sat next to me, "You're my princess."

Eros just dropped me back at Uncle Mark's. Today was so fun!But I'm beat, we had a water fight with some kids and shoved ice cream down each other's throat.
I hope Lacey's doing okay, the most I can do is wait for another call from her. My phone vibrated indicating an incoming text. I unlocked my phone and found it was from Eros.
Eros: Hey! How about we visit your mom's on Friday?
August: Are you sure? I doubt she'd let me in. Probably you though...
Eros: We can have some of my security guards come with us so we can make it look like something happened outside! And we can also go in my limo~
August: You think it'll work Eros?
Eros: I have an IQ of 200+, I know it will
August: Okay Eros, you win, well I'm going to sleep now
Eros: Alright Princess, sweet dreams, love ya
August: You're so corny, sleep tight Eros~~
After thattext I put my phone away. I rolled onto my side thinking of Eros.
'He's suchan idiot...'
I thought for a moment. 'A cute idiot.'
I shook my head. 'Gah, what am I thinking? Go to sleep August!'
And with that, Ifell asleep, and among my dreams, Lacey had grown up and married to a wealthybut kind and loving aristocrat, and Eros was somewhere in there too.
