Chapter 15

Riker's POV

I saw her flutter her eyes open, a big smile crept on my face

"Stephanie your awake!"

“yeah but um… who is Stephanie and w-who are you?"

"no no no no no no no no no this can’t be happening! I’ll be right back!"

"o-ok"

I ran out of the room and looked for a nurse; I told her everything that just happened they went back to Stephanie's room and called the doctor. They told me I had to wait outside, before the doctor came out I called everyone, they all rushed over. When the doctor came out he had a clip board in his hand and he looked at us.

"Stephanie has lost her all of her memory caused by the impact of the pick-up truck hitting her, but she may remember a couple little things, things that mean a lot to her…" the doctor said

"c-can we see her?" Ross asked

"Yes…but don't put any pressure on her to remember you guys. Iy will hopefully come back to her" the doctor said

“How long would it take for her to get all of her memory back?" dad asked

"Anywhere from today or 2 years from now"

"WAIT WHAT" I yelled

"Riker honey it's ok" mom said

I shook my head. She doesn't know any of us?

"You guys can see her if you want to" the doctor said

We all shook our heads yes, and all went inside with Ross and me in the Front

"Heeeey Steph how ya feeling?" rocky asked

"Is that my name Steph?" she said

"Well your full name is Stephanie Morales" I said

"Ok. wait a minute is your name Ricky or Ricker? No no wait it’s um…Riker!" Steph said

"Yeah it is! How did you remember?" I said happily

 "I don't know you just look really familiar" Stephanie said

"Oh" I looked down

"So um... what happen? Why am i here?" she asked after a while of silence

"You got into a car crash with Kaylee. You broke your ankle too "dad said

"Who's Kaylee?"

"She's your best friend"

"Ok, so what are your names?"

"My name is Rydel, you already know Riker, that is Rocky, Ryland, Ross and that is Kaitlyn"

"Ok...can I talk to Riker alone for a second?"

After hearing a bunch if sure's and yup's they all left. I looked at Stephanie she was looking at me in the eyes her eye brows scrunched together...

"Where are you from?"

"I dont think i can tell you, the doctor might get mad at me..."

"Come on, its killing me where do I know you from and the others looked somewhat familiar"

I looked around the room biting my lip. Should i tell her? The doctor said I can’t, I think I'm gonna tell her.

I sighed "Ok, those were some if your best friends out there, you first met us in a meet and greet. You were going to our R5 concert then...I remember liking you when I bumped into you when you were going to the bathroom...i had my hood up and you looked so clue less but exited when you saw me" I by now was smiling like a doof and she was looking at me, I sat down in the chair next to her bed "and also when you were staying over the bus...we fell asleep in each other’s arms, you were embarrassed and I was half asleep still. Also we tried to get our best friends together ...ell and Kaylee... We ditched them at Starbucks and went to your car to listen to music...I was singing and you told me I looked cute when I would sing... we almost had our first kiss then too...but Kaylee ruined it..."

"Wow..."

"Yeah...you know it’s funny we haven’t known each other long but a lot of stuff happened..."

I looked at her she had sad eyes

"Hey what's wrong?"

"I want to remember all the stuff that happened but I can’t" her voice cracks when she said "cant"

I stood up and went closer to the hospital bed; I sat down and put my arm around her. She cried silently in my chest. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn’t remember anything or anyone.

Hour later visiting hour were over and I had to go with the rest of the family, before I left I tucked an almost sleeping Stephanie in and kissed her forehead. Her eye closed meaning she was mostly likely asleep

"I love you Steph...I hope you remember us soon" I said and kissed soft lips, I was pulling back up but she came back up with me still kissing me. I put my hand on her cheek and she lied it on top of my hand, we both pulled back breathless I looked into her eyes and then at her lips then back to her eyes. I pecked her lips before leaving trying to catch up with my family.

All of us left the hospital driving in complete silence, Kaylee is being released tomorrow and ell is going to drive her home....as for Stephanie....I don’t know when she is getting out, maybe tomorrow! We got home at around 8 o'clock and I was really tired I don’t know why.

"I’m gonna go to bed guys" I said yawning

"Ok sweetie are you ok?" Mom asked

"Yeah I’m just tired" I started to walk to my room

"Ok sweetie, love you!"

"Love you too!"

I went to my room, closed the door, put some sweat pants and no shirt on, and plopped down on my really comfortable bed. I was about to fall asleep when Ross came in the room

"We can pick Kaylee and Stephanie tomorrow"

"Ok thanks for telling me"

He left and I fell asleep without anyone else disturbing me.
