The day started off with the maids busting into the room.
The curtains, once clouding the room into a sweet serene dreamlike land, were ripped from the hinges and tied back neatly in a routine-like manner. The sunlight burst through the windows, burning through Daniel's closed eyelids. He bit his tongue before he could make a sound. He wanted nothing more than to just simply groan in protest, however that would be considered impolite and would subsequently result in punishment. Daniel's been biting his tongue quite alot lately..and judging from the five maids in the room dressing him into a high priced embroidered clothes, It was safe to assume that the day would have a lot in store for the young lad.

"Chin up! Back straight!! -NO Daniel! Don't look down at the notes!" Mrs. Evanport scolded.
"I apologise sincerely," Daniel uttered, making the effort to respectfully answer. It would take everything in him to not yawn at the subject at hand.
"Remember, graze the keys Daniel, let the piano play you," She spoke.
Daniel would've liked to be anywhere else than there. London. The city streets were always so dreadfully loud and busy. The weather was much more depressing than him, the people were just as boring as bread and the high status was everything people look for in this town. Daniel held back any emotions to show through his thoughts and kept up the act on trying to be perfect..even though he knew that He was certainly anything but.
"NO!! Try it again, from the top!" She roared.

"Daniel please cooperate," Monsieur Haddaway interrupted his thoughts. The schedule so far had been dreadfully eventful.
6:00 am -waking up and getting dressed and made up for the day.
8:00 am- A quiet and rather awkward breakfast at the table with family. Daniel's father spent the entire time reading the newspaper. His younger brother quietly finished his fancy meal, the sound of his silverware clinked every now and then. This was followed by his mother chatting away on the telephone to her friend, gossiping about the latest events or something on the matter.
11:00 am- piano lessons.
12:00 pm- filling out necessary paperwork in Daniel's father's office.
1:00 pm- 8:00 pm- business dates, work, meetings with boring politicians, eiticate classes, dancing lessons, a lunch at the prime minister's, studying with the personal tutor, harp lessons..and now... courtship.
"Daniel, I do sure hope you're listening this time- tonight you will have a dinner with Sir Valdez' from Yorkshire's daughter Ms. Cathrine Elizabeth Marie," He drabbled on, soon fading away like a blur. This was the 39th girl Daniel met this week.
Having turned 18 years of age, Daniel found himself following the designated courtship rules to find a partner- for obvious reasons being reputation and status only; Love being almost unheard of in the world of the fair and wealthy. Alas however, Daniel never found any genuine interest in any of the fine ladies he'd bring to dinner. He did not find any of them worth giving attention to, as he was sure most of them didn't give a damn about him save for his golden family name.
Daniel found himself, staring out into the busy streets down below from the restaurant he pretty sure his father owned or did own at some point. Catherine, kept babbling on about herself like most of the ladies do. Life was like this for Daniel. Everyday had been set, and planned out for him. Every word, breath, and action was set in stone and carefully criticized by those who see him. His fate was decided for him far before he even acted. This is how the rest of his life was and will be. Life to him seemed so insignificant in that moment; He was never allowed to speak for himself, and if he did, he would be greatly punished for such actions.
