We spend several days in the cabin, waiting for something to happen. Nothing ever does though. Durga never tells us anything and we don't know what to do or where to go. I myself am starting to get a little antsy, I just feel like I'm waiting for Michael to strike. Well I guess it is actually Jeremy. I try not to think about the fact that Jeremy becoming evil is all my fault, but I do. Logan always knows what I'm thinking and try's to cheer me up, but his efforts are wasted on me. I've distanced myself from Logan quite drastically. When I had woken up in his arms, he was still asleep so I took that time to study his features. His skin looked perfectly smooth and lightly tan. His golden brown hair silky and shiny. His mouth was set in a little pout, which was actually quite hot if you ask me. I realized while looking at him that I already was in love with him. That thought terrified me. Not for me, but for him. It already killed me that I had gotten Jeremy hurt, but if Logan got hurt I wouldn't be able to stand it. So I quietly got out of the bed and went to my own room. Of course Logan had figured out what I was doing and tried to tell me that he would be okay, but I didn't know that for sure and I just couldn't risk it. "Kam? Did you hear me?" Logan asks while waving his hand in front of my face. "Nope, sorry." I respond monotone. He sighs quite dramatically, then takes me by the hand and pulls me up. I feel a gush of wind and suddenly I'm looking at Logan's butt. "What are you doing?" Annoyance creeping into my voice. "Well if you had been listening to me, you would know." He says with a smirk in his voice. Yes, a smirk in his voice. No one else could pull it off, but Logan almost always has a smirk in his voice especially when he is annoying me. "Well I'm listening now.." I tell him sweetly. "Toooo late!" He responds with a cute little squeak at the end. I don't even realize that he has been walking the whole time until I see green everywhere. I wriggle until I'm doing a handstand then come down. I turn to find Logan watching me expectantly. "We aren't supposed to come outside Logan." I tell him seriously. "I'm tired of staying inside I think we need to explore around the area and find a couple hiding spaces just in case or find a place we can look out over the city." I grunt. Realizing this is actually a good idea and I just hate to admit it. "Fine." I say shortly. We make our way over towards the back of the cabin, I find a tree we can climb. We climb for a long time, I finally see the sky and start going up quicker. I make it to the top and all the breath in me just releases. The sun is setting, I can see all the orange, pink, and blue in the sky. It's so beautiful like a painting. "Logan do you see this??" "Yeah it's great! You can see the whole city!" I look down as he says that. "Wow, you're right!" I grab the binoculars I had in my backpack and look through them. I find our house quickly. Nothing looks strange. I look towards the school and find Jeremy. "Logan. Look its Jeremy!" I quickly hand him the binoculars. "Yeah it is. He hands me the binoculars back, and he pulls out his own pair. I find him again and watch as he gets in the car. He pulls out and heads toward the warehouse I was once stuck in.
