Desmond's Pov.
The audience cheers from the stands. Women, men, children and even people from outside of the city were inside the arena, cheering from the stands. They sounded like packs of hundreds of beast storming in and roaring just to scare us, but their cheers made us feel even more comfortable and happy. We'll soak up those cheers til every last one of them, they are Sacred to us. Why? Just wait and see.
"The big day is finally here, folks! The Grand Magic Games!" One of the commentators, Chapati Lola, announces from the commentators box. We just can't wait to get out and show ourselves to the world.
Narrator's Pov.
Let me tell you what happened to Romeo. Romeo had went out to tour the great city yesterday and when it came time to go back to the Inns, Romeo never came back. Elfman and his sisters set out to find him and when they did they found him at the Palace Gardens. Romeo was left unconscious and with barely any power left. Romeo was immediately sent to the GMG Emergency Room to rest up and wait for a doctor. Just as quickly as they brought Romeo to the room was just as quick it took Nastu to burst through the room with everyone following behind him.
"Where was he?" Nastu asks Mirajane with rage in his body. Before any questions, yes, Mirajane and Lisanna both have Five Black Dots on the back of their necks. Mirajane sighs sadly
"We found him in the Palace Gardens." Mira answers softly, groans of pain coming from Romeo as he slowly awakes. "You alright, buddy?" Nastu looks down at Romeo, who opens his eyes slowly. "Nastu?" Romeo speaks out weakly, his voice shaky and soft. "What happened, buddy?" Nastu places a hand on Romeo's forehead to sooth him, Romeo shivers a bit when asked that question. "I don't remember. Sorry, I wish I could remember." Romeo then groans while holding his stomach.
"What's going on?" Nastu asks around him and soon enough he gets his answers, but not from someone he expected. "He has Magic Deficiency Syndrome." Everyone turns around to see a young, 12 year old girl with long glue hair and big brown eyes accompanied with glasses on her face. This girl is holding a clipboard and dressed like a doctor.
"Who are you?" Laxus looks down to her, seeing as she is much smaller than him. You would think that she is just a helper of the doctor with her age and height. The young girl fixes her glasses and walks through the boys. "I'm Dr. Wendy Marvell, Doctor for the King and this year the King has asked me to be the Doctor for this year's Grand Magic Games." The young girl, Dr. Marvell, explains leaving them all stunned by her status.
Dr. Marvell touches Romeo's forehead and explains further, "Magic Deficiency Syndrome is a condition of weakened physical strength brought on by an acute case of Magic Depletions. He simply had his magic power sucked out of him. He'll be able to recover with some sleep." Dr. Marvell explains simply as they all have shocked faces.
Nastu shook off his shocked face and kneeled down to Romeo to ask him one more time, "Who did this to you?" Romeo tries his hardest to remember but, "All I remember is seeing a little black animal." Romeo starts to then cry, turning to the other side so they won't see him.
Dr. Marvell sighs, moving away from the bed, "Now, all of you need to get out or he won't get any sleep." Dr. Marvell pushes them all out of the room and all you can hear are Romeo's cries. Dr. Marvell doesn't want to talk to him so she makes his medicine, listening to his cries until he falls asleep.
