he finally reached his apartment. he unlocked the door, took off his shoes and headed straight for the sofa.

something jimin got in the habit of doing was watching the news. his father always told him that it was good to know what's going on in the world. him and jimin would sit there watching it together, right up until the day he passed.

and so everynight, at 7pm, he'd switch on the news broadcast, just like his dad did.

there was one story that the news kept talking about. a girl aged around 17, from a very wealthy family, killed her father and her younger sister and then ran away.

that wasn't the only case that kept repeating either.

there was another young girl who had reportedly gone missing when she was seven. the police have been searching for her, for almost 10 years now. jimin had always thought that there was another reason they were looking for her though. he could never work out what. he'd always had a particular interest in that case.

he picked up the remote and switched off the TV. his mind wasn't focused on the news this evening.
