Coronation Street | Episode 16

Robert lay on the roof.. he wasn't moving and didn't look awake. But after seconds.. he coughed several times as he woke up. Before getting to his feet, someone comes up the ladders towards the roof quietly and slowly.. it was Macca. He's stunned to find Robert lying there and questions begin to flow through his head!
"What happened?" Said Macca as he looked at his surroundings.
"The girl pushed her!" Explained Robert as he took to his feet from being knocked down.
"And you?" He Added nervously.
"She erm.. she hit me, hardly. Knocked me down roughly to the floor and running off afterwards" told, Robert as he tried to get words out towards him. "What are you even doing her?" Asked away, Robert after finishing his response.
"I came for revenge. I came to find out who killed Callum Logon.. and you" gulped, Macca towards him.
"Me?" Asked Robert.
"You never told me you were even alive. The last I heard, you got shot and you're body was never found!" Explained, Macca.
"Well, I had to hide out for a few months. Get my act together, clean up my injures and think of a plan" told, Robert.
"Well.. mine didn't go smoothly" said, Macca.
"What do you mean it didn't go-" questioned Robert, then realising that he caused the crash.
"It was you! You caused that crash, back there." Shouted Robert waving his hand around as he pointed down below.
"You should be happy"
"Happy? About what?" Explained, Robert
"Nick and David are trapped down there"
"Who cares! You could of killed me" raised his voice, Robert.
"Well.. maybe this has went too far. Let's get out of here, eh?" Told, Macca.
"No!" Shouted, Robert.
"No?"
"Get out of my way! Let's finish this!" Explained Robert as he pushed passed Macca and began to head towards the ladders going down.
"Finish this? Who do you think you are? I risked everything for you.. you're dead to me." Screamed, Macca towards him.

Robert raced over to Macca and wrapped his hands around his neck. He held him tightly, squeezing him into huge amounts of pain.
"don't ever question me again.. MACCA!" Shouted Robert in his face.
"You're.. dead to me" chocked, Macca as he tried to get words out.
Robert released him firmly. He then pushed him hard, punched him hard and then watched as Macca fell and smacked straight on the rooftop. He lay there unconsciously, blood began to pour from his head.
"see you later.. Macca" Said, Robert as he wave goodbye and exited the roof.

Meanwhile, Maria was sitting in the shop with Gail, Adam & Dev - she told them what happened and what she saw. As the conversation grew.. Sarah raced in.
"Mum!" Screamed, Sarah and she raced over to her and gave her a big hug.
"Sarah, love? What's happened?" Asked, Gail.
"It's Robert! He was on the roof.. I nearly died"
"What?" Said, Gail as she began to look confused as did the others in the room.
"I managed to get back up from the sloppy tiles, when Robert turned his back. But CARLA came up. She tried her best to push Robert back, but he wasn't having any of it. So he pushed her" cried, Sarah as tears streamed down her face.
"Is that why she's lying on the roof?" Asked Adam
Sarah nodded, then crouched his head into her mum's chest.. crying.

Back outside, the ambulance drew their attention to Carla who had fell off the roof. She was placed into the ambulance van and ready to be taken off to hospital for emergency treatment. Robert glanced over to the van, and raced himself up the cobbles taking a vastly turn at Audrey's Salon. His car was parked outside the corner of the Salon. He jumped in and sat there for couple of minutes.. to take in Weatherfield one last time.

Gail rushed outside and raced over to the ambulance van. She was in complete shock as she saw the state of what Carla.
"Where are you going?" Demanded, Gail.
"Hospital" Replied, one of the paramedics.
"But my husband is lying in there too unconscious and both of my sons are still stuck in that bloody building!" Screamed, Gail.
"We've called for a extreme back up. They'll be on they way now and will be here in just minutes time." Explained, the paramedics.
Gail looked down in fear and worry.
"Again.. they'll be here! But if we don't go now, Mrs Connor could die" feared, the paramedics.
"Okay" singed Gail as she watched the paramedics begin to shut the double doors and head off. She looked back and watched the ambulance go full speed up the cobbles, turn the corner and head to Manchester's NHS. Will Carla make it from her frightful fall?
