the girl gently presses the white notes
as she begins her piece.
her eyes close and her dainty hands
begin to dance across the keys.a melancholy tune escapes from the instrument
and travels to my ears.
goosebumps erupt on my naked skin
whilst i shiver with pure delight.i was frozen in that moment,
my heart beating so hard i thought it'd jump
out of my mouth and into her hands,
letting her play with it like she played the piano.a charming smile appeared on her flawless face
as she increased speed, reaching the climax.
i felt myself hold my breath in awe
and silently watched her make art.finally, she ends on a low chord
before the crowd's thunderous applause.
almost like royalty, she stands and bows,
my piano girl.you were beautiful on that stage
but you were more beautiful in my arms.
did you know out of all the songs you played,
you were my favourite.
