Let the Ships Sail

Angie reached for the door of the house. Behind her were 3 boys, Tom, Edd, and Matt.

"I'm glad they were able to take the infection out, Edd." I said, opening the door for the boys.

"I'm glad too." He said, walking in.

"Thanks for picking us up." Tom said, smiling at Angie. 'He's been oddly happy...' Angie thought. She looked at Matt. He blushed and walked in. She followed them inside and sat on the couch.

" Hey, guys." Tom said, " I have to be somewhere in 30 minutes."

"Oh, you got a date?" Angie said, mockingly.

"Is it with that one nurse?" Edd said, sitting down with me. Matt sat down too.

"No, It's with this one girl I met." Tom said blushing.

"Who is it?" Angie said, a wide smile on her face.

"No one. Just a girl." Tom shot back, glaring at her.

"Well I hope no one likes the way you put your hoodie on backwards." Matt said, crossing his arms evily. Tom blushed even more and he fixed it. Angie, Edd, and Matt were giggling at how foolish he looked.

"Ok, I'll be back in about an hour." Tom said, and left. Angie thought about following him, but she would do that a different time.

"So, I've been meaning to ask, who are the neighbors next door?" Angie said, causing Edds face to scrunch up and Matt to glare. "I'm guessing there not too friendly."

"You guessed right." Matt said, frowning. "Their names are Jon, Mark, and-"

"EDUARDOOOOOO!" Edd said, cleanching his fist.

Angie went still for a while. A memory came flooding back too her, hard as a rock.

"This is... nice." I said, looking at my knees.

"Only the best for you" Eduardo said, smiling. I heard a gasp from behind and looked. A skinny tall girl stood behind me, walking up.

"So, Eduardo, is this your sister?" She said, looking at me.

"Sister? No, I'm his girl friend." I said, confused. Eduardo looked scared.

"But, I'M his girl friend..." She said, mad. We both looked at Eduardo.

"Um, Angie, this is Sydney..." He said, sweating.

"E-Eduardo... are you cheating on me?!?" I said, getting mad.

"Aparently so." Sydney said, crossing her arms. Eduardo let out a nervous laugh and started to get up from his chair. I stood up, shaking the table and chased his outside. He ran about 10 feet untill I jumped on him, making him fall over in pain. I grabbed both his as and twisted them nehind his back. I heard a crack from one of them and let go. I spit on his back as he was moaning.

"NEVER mess with Angie." I said as Sydney walked up, calm.

"Arn't you going to protect him or something?" I asked, putting my hands in my hoodie pockets.

"No, he deserved it." She said, smiling.

Angie blinked and frowned.

"Eduardo used to be my boyfriend!" I said, crossing my arms.

"You're fond of him?!" Edd said, suprised.

"No, I broke his arm and made him break up with another girl." I said, grining at the 'arm' part. "I hate him."

"Good. For a second there I thought I'd have to kick you out." Edd joked. Me and ,Matt stared at Edd with blank eyes. "Um guys? I was just joking."

"Ha ha?" I said, scooting away from Edd into Matt. My hand touched his hand for a split second, then I pulled away. Edd seemed to notice and he smiled, walking away.

"Sorry..." I said, looking at him.

"Its ok.." He said, blushing. I stood up and walked to my room.

Tom pulled up outside a grey house. A dirty blonde girl walked up, and got in the seat next to Tom.

"Nice to see you again." She said, looking at Tom. All he did was blush. He started driving, and when he stopped, he opened the door for her.

"So Tom, you said you  live with others?" Rcahel said, sitting down.

"2 more guys and a girl now." Tom said, fiddling his fingers.

"Names?" Rachel said, looking around for a waiter.

"Matt, Edd, and Angie." He replied. The waiter walked up. 

"Would you like anything to drink?" He said, holding several menus at a time.

"Water please." We both said at the same time.  The waiter walked away. Rachel started to laugh.

"Whats so funny?" Tom said confused.

"You don't have to act so innocent. I know that If this wasn't a date, you would be drinking. So would I." She said, laughing and rolling her eyes.

Tom was suprised. "You drink? You seem so-"

"So innocent? So cute? If you're looking for a girl like that then you better leave now." She said, smiling.

"No, I  like a girl like that." Tom said, suprised but happy.

"You wanna go to a bar or something?" She said, trying to signal a waiter.

"Sure." Tom said. As the waiter came over, Tom said that there order will be canceled since it was only two glasses of water. Him and Rachel then rode to the nearest bar.

I really coudn't think of a name for this chapter, but at least I'm posting it.
