The next morning was just as bad. Everything hurt. The sun was too bright. The creaks of the house to loud. The pounding of my head too prominent. Then you called.

"Gray? Are you okay?" Your voice was tired and dripping with worry.

"Why are you being so loud. I'm fine."

"I'm so sorry about last night. Where are you?" You asked still loud, still worried. I had glanced around the room, not totally sure where I was or how I'd gotten there. There was a small white door opposite where I laid. There were a two open windows on either side of the bed, the curtains swayed lightly in the breeze. All the walls were painted a deep green.

It was my room.

"At home." I finally replied to you. I heard you let out a breath. I could picture you weakly smiling in relief.

"Okay good. Well I should go. Bye." Then you hung up. I still wish you hadn't.

"Gray get down here now!" My mother screamed from down stairs. The volume of her voice caused my head to pound faster. I slowly got out of bed, instantly feeling the pressure increase in my head. I walked down the carpeted stairs and into the living room. My mother had sat on the couch. Her head hanging backwards loosely and her clothes disheveled.

"Yes ma'am?" I had asked standing a foot or two away from her. She picked her head up and looked at me. Her eyes examining me closely.

"I heard you get home last night," She had paused and I immediately knew what was going to happen, "You know the rules, Gray. You and I both know I don't want to do this, but rules are important and no offspring of mine will ignore them." She then got off the couch and walked towards me.

Okay, so in hindsight this was in idea that clearly makes more sense in my head, but I might as well finish what I started. But I mean if you liked it vote or comment or something. If you didnt like it vote or comment or something :)
