The day after

"Bitch don't touch me" Baekhyun hissed, waddling into the school grounds.

"What the hell happened to you last night?" Luhan wondered, generally curious about why his best friend was walking like he had something shoved up his ass.

"I went on a jog" He admitted, too tired to even think about an excuse.

"Yeah right! You probably went out and drank, got drunk and fucked a random stranger!"

"As much as I love to fulfil your dreams about me losing my virginity Lu, that's not what happened"

Luhan grinned evilly, stepping closet to his best friend and tangling his arm around his neck.

"Of course you didn't because you know I would have killed the bastard if he even tried laying a grubby finger on you"

This was one of the many reasons Baekhyun felt comfortable and safe standing next to Luhan. It also meant that it was one more reason to protect the boy. Baekhyun never wanted anyone to know about his real identity simply because he didn't want his friends getting hurt. Minseok knowing was a complete accident, one that he had to accept. He'd give his life in a heartbeat so they'd continue to go on, after all they were the only family he had left.

"Kyungsoo!" Luhan yelled, deafening the smaller boy to his side.

"Ear Luhan, MY EAR!" the boy screamed back, making sure to hit the same decimal that Luhan had hit before.

The said boy winced clutching his aching ear as Baekhyun happily skipped towards their other group memeber.

"Hey Kyung, how you today~" he singsonged after sliding up against the locker besides the small brunette.

Baekhyun's eyes widened seeing the swollen black eye and cut upper lip. His fists immediately tightened by his waist as he pushed his best friend up against the other locker.

"Did they do this to you again?"

"Baekhyun why are you so shocked?" The boy sighed shoving his friend away before the bruise on his back hurt again.

"Because they never went this bad before" Baekhyun hissed holding the boys head closer to him so that he could get a good look at the damage.

"Seriously Baek, I'm fine" Kyungsoo admitted.

"Stop bullshitting me Kyung, you know you can always just move in with me"

That sentence was enough to have the younger student in tears. Baekhyun wrapped his arms around the crying boy before gesturing to Luhan to take his bag and close the locker. With a bit of difficulty they managed to make it to the restroom without anyone paying much attention to them. Kyungsoo had found himself hidden into the crook of Baekhyun's neck, his tears somewhat tickling the older.

"Kyungsoo" Baekhyun called out, his arms still wrapped around his best friends shoulder.

A shake against his neck and jaw gave Baekhyun to answer he needed...Kyungsoo wasn't in the mood for talking.

"Hey..." Luhan tried but once he received a look from Baekhyun he quickly changed the subject. "Did you guys see the match last night?"

"Nope, I was out...who was playing?"

"The eagles vs the lions" (these are made up teams guys) The doe faced boy smiled generally happy to be able to talk about the match.

"Oooh who won?" Baekhyun asked hoping their plan would lure Kyungsoo's interest.

"Obviously the Lions like come on the eagles stink!"
