Chapter 4

Before Sage even parked the car Payton was already out of it and ran up the steps to the school, probably to find her hot piece of boyfriend as she likes to call him. Her and Matt have been going out for about a year now seeing as though he's the star quarterback for our school Payton and him we're the star couple of our school. Payton definitely didn't like the spot light it came with being the star quarterbacks girlfriend but for him she really didn't care

Look down at my phone, second period started in exactly 5 minutes. Me and Sage quickly gathered are stuff and got out of the car soon as possible. But when we finally got into school and rounded to the hallway, the bell rang signaling that first period was over. Students from every class came rushing out of class and into the hallways to meet up with their friends or to find there next class, seeing as though the freshman's didn't know how to find there way around the hallways were always packed with students trying to find there way to class

Pushing through the chaos me and Sage walked to are lockers, Which lucky for us were located by each other. Once we reached them I opened my locker stuffing some of my textbooks into the locker. "I think I should get a boyfriend. Do you think I should get one?"Sage says closing her locker and leaning her back against it

I smiled closing my locker abruptly " You think you should get one? Boyfriends are not something you can just bring home and buy at a Pet store" I laughed

She rolled her eyes and hit me in the arm with one of her text books, which hurt "Ow!" I said glaring at her

"Darcy I'm being serious"

I rubbed my painfully hurt arm "I think if you want a boyfriend, sure go get one. We could even go together and pick out the fluffiest one in the cafeteria!" I laughed again, until I was brutally hit with Sages textbook again.

"Ow! Stop doing that"

"That's what you get!"

I rolled my eyes snatching the textbook out of her arms and into mine. While rubbing my other hurt arm I turn away accidentally dropping Sages textbook on the floor. I reach down to get it when suddenly it was kicked by a running freshman going down the hall at rapid speed. Picking off the ground was not easy in a packed hallway, once i grabbed it I stood up to make my way back over to Sage but I stopped when I accidentally bumped into a hard chest which made the textbook fall straight back to the floor

"Watch we're your going"

I looked up from the dropped textbook and into the icy green eyes of the boy who I can't seem to get away from. picking back up the textbook that I hopefully will have to pick up for the last time, And I quickly move out the way. Seeing as though he doesn't want to be bothered he pushes passed me pretending as if I didn't exist.

Sage ran over to where I was standing and put her hand on my shoulder taking back her text book "Well, that was quite awkward" she said

I sighed "Tell me about" I just can't seem to get away from him"

"Let's just go to class okay"

"Okay"

"Having lunch time never felt so good" Payton said resting her head on her boyfriend Matt's shoulder. Me, Sage, Payton and Matt sat at a 4 seated table in the back of the lunch room

After my fourth period class, Physics. We all had lunch. We of course had the typical lunch room seatings. But the four of us always sat in the back table away from all the chaos and drama of social stupidly. Being that Payton is dating Matt we're definitely on the high levels of the food chain but I wouldn't say I liked it that much. Lunch was me time, not time for the latest gossip
