Frisk had just gotten home from school and after closing the front door, she walked into her room. She then closed her bedroom door and started to cry, keeping quiet so her uncle Sans wouldn't hear her. Her boyfriend had just dumped her so, to make her feel better, she texted her best friend Chara.
Frisk: Daniel broke up with me...
Chara: What? Why?
Frisk: He said that I flirt too much
Chara: That's so stupid. Come here right now
Frisk: ok...
Frisk then put her phone away and wiped the tears from her eyes. After notifying her uncle, Frisk then left the house and made her way to Chara's. Once arriving, she knocked on the door and Chara almost immediately opened the door, enveloping Frisk in a hug. Coming out of the hug, Chara brought Frisk inside and into her room.
"Now, what was his stupid reasoning again?" Chara questioned.
"He didn't like how much of a flirt I was. He said he doesn't like girls with more game than him." Frisk explained.
"That is the most stupid thing I have ever heard in my life. What kind of idiot uses an excuse like that? Honestly, if this guy can't get over himself enough to see what an amazing person you are, then he doesn't deserve you." Said Chara.
"I know, but that doesn't mean it hurts any less," Frisk whined.
"You're okay here you know. If you need to cry, you can. I'm here for you." Chara said, bringing Frisk into a hug.
Frisk weakly hugged back and began to cry into Chara's shoulder.
"You'll be okay. There are other people who care about you. Anyone would be lucky to have you, Frisk." Chara murmured to Frisk as she continued to cry.
Chara secretly had a crush on Frisk so, hearing her boyfriend broke up with her gave Chara mixed feelings. On one hand, Frisk was once again single which means Chara had a shot. Then again, she felt bad for Frisk, seeing her so sad and mad at that jerk for being so vain. Frisk slowly stopped crying but didn't let out of the hug.
"Just remember Frisk, you are still loved. You don't need him." Chara said once again.
"You're right Chara. Thank you, you're the best friend I ever could have asked for." Frisk thanked.
"Yeah, friend... No problem." Replied Chara
"You care so much about me and you always know just what to say to make me happy. I'm glad I met you and someone like you is exactly what I want in a person." Frisk said.
"But, not me, right?..." Chara said, sounding a bit hurt.
"Well, I wouldn't want to ruin our friendship." Replied the shorter girl which hit Chara right in the heart.
The two girls continued talking for a bit until Frisk had to go home. Chara waved her off before going back to her room. Sighing, she lied on her bed.
"I just wish she would see. I should just tell her but, what if she actually friend zones me? I don't think I could ever come back from that." Chara said, sighing once again.
The next day rolled around and Chara met up with Frisk to walk to school. On the way there, Chara pulled Frisk aside into a group of trees.
"Chara? What's going on?" Asked Frisk.
"I had something I wanted to tell you. I love you, Frisk. I have for a while." Chara replied, mustering up all her courage.
Frisk's mouth gaped. She was taken aback by what Chara just said.
"Chara, I'm flattered but, what would happen to our friendship? I don't know how to feel about this." Frisk responded.
"Please Frisk. You even said it yourself, someone like me is exactly what you want in a person. I promise nothing will happen to our friendship. Just give me a chance, please." Chara pleaded with their friend.
"I guess it would probably be worse if I said no, huh? Plus, I do have to admit, you're a great person. Kind, pretty, and I have had a small crush on you. Okay, I'll go out with you." Frisk said.
Chara's cheeks were now dusted red from the compliments. Overwhelmed with feelings, Chara pulled Frisk into a quick kiss.
"I guess that's another thing I can add to the list of things that make you perfect." Frisk flirted, winking. "Now come on, before we're late for school."
She then took her new girlfriends hand and swiftly made her way to school, a big smile on her face. As they got there, they met up with Asriel.
"Hey bro." Said Chara, a smile plastered on her face.
"Sup sis. You look happy." Asriel pointed out.
"Well, how could I not? I'm going out with the greatest person ever." Responded Chara.
"Oh? Who would that be?" Asriel asked.
"Take a guess." A smiley Frisk chimed in, wrapping her arms around Chara.
"Wow, I actually didn't expect you two to start dating," Asriel admit.
"Well, when an angel asks you for something, you can't really say no," Frisk responded.
Chara blushed and Asriel chuckled. The bell rang soon after and the tree went to class.
