When I woke up, I wasn't in my room anymore. I was back in wonderland, but I couldn't exactly tell where. I was laying in a bed with soft linen sheets over me. the walls were a dark shade of blue, and patterns of gold decorated the top and bottom of them. The more alarming thing was the light breathing that enacted beside me, and the feeling of not being alone.
"You're back, I see," Jack said tiredly as he moved to get up.
Alarmed and slightly concerned, I bolted out of the bed. Doing so, I contemplated whether it was more worrying that the portal had brought me here, or the fact that I had now seen two men without shirts who I had only met the other day, and neither seemed to care much.
"W-what am I doing here," I asked, immediately averting my eyes. My cheeks were no doubt red now.
"You tell me," he replied, reaching for a shirt from a drawer nearby. "The device only brings youto places you want it to. Deep down, you must have hade some desire to be here."
I felt my cheeks get warmer by the second. If I wasn't blushing earlier, I definately was now.
"You should know," he said, "that I don't mind the company. You are still more than welcome to stay here as long as you like. In fact, I think that it might be to your benefit to stay. It would save you from having to teleport back and forth, and we could protect you better."
I started to contemplate if I should stay with him. It would be safer, and having to pull out that mirror and trying to teleport here every day would be a pain. Maybe it was a good idea to stay...
"I think I'll take you up on that offer," I said.
He shot back a look of suprise, entertainment, and happiness.
"Well then" he said, slightly caught off guard, "allow me to show you to your room, unless you'd prefer to stay with me-"
"N-no," I replied quickly. He smirked as he led me.
My room was similar to his, in the sense that it was the complete opposite. My walls were a light-ish red with gold patterns, and black sheets. Still, it was a really nice room, and I took no time getting comfortable. However, I only had a couple of minutes to rest before the others came by to discuss plans.
Lately, I've been having trouble figuring out which of these worlds was the reality, and which wasn't. I've been so submerged in this world that ot seems real. However, I've lived in the other world all my life... or have I?
I mean, it's not impossible that this place can alter one's memories like Jack said earlier, but is it likely. And who wouldn't want me to remember this place? Seemingly, the only person who has it out for us is the Queen, so I guess her? The more I thought about this, the likelier it seemed, and the more confused I became.
I walked into the conversation.
"So," Jack inclined, "You're suggesting that we act out with the intentions of being caught."
Hatter nodded. "This is the plan."
"How would we even go about doing this?"
"That should be simple," he replied with a sinester tone and grin as cold as the freshly fallen snow.
"We raise Hell," he replied.
