Part 4

Hey y'all! I'm finally posting!! School is horrible and it's literally exam season right now so i apologize about my horrible update schedule that i don't really have😅 to thank y'all for putting up with my inconsistent posts, Dans gonna be in this chapter!! Legoooo

Dan POV

I opened my eyes and i immediately closed it again, being met with a bright light shining in my eyes. I then groaned, feeling a sharp pain in my legs.

However, i was still alive! A feeling of elation bloomed in my heart and i let out a sigh of relief. The very next thing, i realized was where i was.

It was dark in the room but because I was a neko, and could see in the dark,  I managed to slip out of the comfortable bed I was on and onto the floor quietly.

The second my feet touched a ground, i shivered. Whether it was from the coldness of the floor or the fear of my new surroundings, I wasn't sure. Moving silently, i crawled around the room carefully checking my surroundings for any danger or any clues of where i could be.

In the room, there was a table with many things on, and bin, filled with many small cereal boxes and a few other scientific things that i had no idea what it was for.

Am i being catnapped?

Where am I?

Starting to feel afraid of my new surroundings, my mind went back to master and his home which i escaped from. What if it's worse here?

I was scared.

Thinking of the best way i could survive if this place turned out to be another hell, I decided to find a hiding space in the the room so that at least the owner of this place wouldn't find me that easily

However, before i could start looking for possible hideouts, the door opened and the light flickered on.

Spinning around in fear and shock , my eyes made contact with a pair of ocean blue eyes.

Phil POV

I woke up on the couch the next day, my back aching in pain from not being able to sleep well. However, my mind quickly went back to the neko that showed up yesterday and i immediately got up, wanting to check on him.

Checking that Lisa was still asleep first so that she won't absolutely freak out, I walked to the study, hoping that he was okay. Grabbing the door handle, i opened it and switched on the light.

The moment the light flickered on, my eyes met with the same beautiful brown eyes from yesterday.

Slightly shocked that he was standing there, I quickly stammered out a "Oh hey, you are awake!" , wanting to have a conversation so that he won't freak out.

Bad idea.

Immediately, he dove away and scrambled to the other side of the room, pressing himself against the corner. He curled up into a ball with his tail wrapped around him and started shaking.

"Please don't hurt me."

He stuttered, shielding his head as if someone was about to attack him.

"Please don't hurt me , please don't hurt me , please don't hurt me..."

I quickly took a step back, slightly startled by his huge reaction.

" Um.. don't worry, I am not going to hurt you. Dont be scared! I'm Phil Lester."

I said, hoping to calm him down a bit.

Maybe from my calm and un-menacing reaction or my gentle words, he stopped murmuring but stayed hiding in the corner of the room.

"Hey, It's okay! You are safe here with me."

I smiled at him, taking a small step forward, but immediately stepping back again when he flinched.

" Who are you?"

"I'm...I'm D-Dan H-Howell."

Honestly i hope y'all know that i am absolutely the worst person ever so don't expect another chapter too soon! (If we manage to hit 8 votes which i doubt cuz i'm a shitty writer 😅 i'll post earlier!)
