.PROLOGUE.

MIKA'S POV

"Hello? Zoe?" Bati ko sa telepono habang inaayos ko ang aking mga maleta. "Why bessyyy?" Reply naman ng bestfriend ko sa kabilang linya. "I'm out." Sabi ko at tila nashock talaga si Zoe sa warning ko.

"OMG, you came out?" Pagtataka niya bakas ang pagkagulat sa kanyang boses. "Oo nga, i mean figuratively and literally, just do what I said ok?" Seryoso kong dagdag. "Literally?! Pinalayas ka?!".

"Oo nga! cge na. I have to go, bye." Simple kong sambit, "Ok bess, itra-try ko yung best ko, I'm always here for you, k k?" Pagpapaalala ng kaibigan ko sakin, "Ok thanks." Binaba ko na and telepono pagkatapos kong magpasalamat sa pabor na hiningi ko sa kanya, she has connections and can help me move out easier, well actually she's the one who presented and volunteered.

About two hours ago...

"Mom, Dad, I don't want to marry that guy." I said honestly to my parents, we're at the dining table eating dinner and discussing company manners also known as discussions about their so called alliance.

"Well, you can always choose from the other existing company heir of our clients." My Dad 'Geunicio Ayuzawa owner of Hikaru Publishing' said while wiping other particles of our steak off his chin. "I heard that they are all good looking as well, right Meidô?" My mom ask glancing at our 58 years old nanny, Meidô Cemmy, who nodded and smiled at me teasingly in reply. "I don't even know any of the guys you're talking about." "Come on just look at your Nesan's fiance." My mom added, she really likes Theo, 'my nesan Sunny Ayuzawa's arranged fiance.

"Mom....Dad... There's something I needed to tell you for a while now..." I started they just glance at me and nodded for me to continue, "I'm ... please understand...I don't like boys..." I finally said it, something that I'm meaning to confess about 8 months now. My Dad almost spit out his food from his mouth, "what are you telling me your gay?" My Dad snorted trying his best not to laugh , my Mom is also in the same situation.
"I guess it's not bad to set some jokes on the table sometimes ey?" My now chuckling father added.

"No...just that I don't like guys nor girls...I mean...like ....asexual or bisexual, you should know what I mean..." I said looking down on my plate, my hands are trembling and my heart is skipping almost every beat it needed.

"What? If you're gawking this just to escape your responsibility, it won't work, tandaan mo, it isn't your decision that matters, your holding the betterment of our company!" My Dad went from silly to furious, he looks really really really absolutely mad, my mom widens her eyes at me sending me a message of 'stop this nonsense' through looks' , "Sorry." I murmured, I glance to my side, my little brother and older just watching the commotion. "Mika, I'm only asking you one thing para sa kompanyang bumuhay sa pamilya natin, it's the least you can do but you still have to cause this drama? We've been through this and you still have to be this selfish? Disappointing." He exclaimed firmly then left.

I didn't bother to even look at him, the company means a lot to our blood line, my mom patted my shoulder making me glance at her.

"I'll try talking to him, for now get your stuff and leave to Zoe's apartment." My mom speak but also left the room following Dad. That's when I knew I blew it all up and slapped them with my black ship misfortune.

It's now just me and my siblings, no one dared to speak, but suddenly Nesan broke the silence, "Let's go." She said to me, I just nodded and followed.

We packed all things I need , "Take this credit and cash, you might need it ." Neesan said, its 9 pm, "Arigato." I replied , "Nesan, I didn't expect this from you, I mean the reaction of yours and mom's..." I started again.

"We knew it already and we've planned it too." , "Huh?" I tilted my head looking at her in building confusion , "Silly, we knew that this is gonna happen, its obvious, we know you'll do anything for the company, you know better that's why we know you wouldn't bullshit us, just to excuse yourself with business." She chuckled, "Oh." I just replied, she raffled my hair and sighed. "Silly." She said with a smile, "Now contact Zoe and you're leaving." She directed, I just nod, Nesan left the room to make some calls as my luggages are almost ready.

Bzzt zbzzzt bzzt bzzzt ... Naramdaman kong nagvibrate and cellphone ko at agad kong tinignan and ID ng caller.

Zoe is calling...
And it lead us to our current phone conversation.

Pagkatapos kong magempake at masigurado and aking mga gamit, isinakay ko na yon sa kotse sa tulong ng mga mababait naming maid at driver, ang nakakatouch pa dito ay yung mga messages nila na somehow nagsosooth sa feeling ko.

Nagpaalam na rin ako kay Neesan at kay Junji yung bunso kong kapatid, sabi ni Neesan tawagan ko lang daw sila kung may kailangan ako at iba pa, si Mom naman ay minessage ko na lang dahil sigurado kasama niya si Dad ngayon.

Nilingon ko sila at kinawayan, at di naglaon pinaandar ko na ang kotse ko at pumunta sa address ng apartment nila Zoe.
