MIKA'S POV

9:39 PM

Nakita ko na ang bukana ng gate ng apartment compound ng 809B Mazuna Street here in Kyoto.

It took me about an hour to ride to here from Osama.

Chikaku ang street name namin back home (Chikaku means near in Japanese) , after a while, nag park ako sa loob ng complex , buti pinapasok ako ng Gādo (guard), sinabi ko lang na kaibigan ako ni Zoe at di na ito umangal pa.

Kapansinpansin din ang mga cctv sa gate sa ilan sa mga main spots ng complex, kahit papano the security seems alright, there are about 3 apartment buildings or compounds, its very plain and simple not much and not less for an average likings of a person, seems ok, by the look of it, 2 or 3 bedroom and kasya dito, but its not that big, like I said, it was average.

I closed the door of my car and called Zoe, she answered.

Sinabi kong nandito na ako at dali-dali naman siyang bumaba mula sa kanyang apartment at sinalubong ako.

"Hi Miks !!" Salubong niya kasama ang isang mainit na yakap, yumakap ako pabalik at bumati rin

"So .. what now?" She asked.

"Let's go unpack then." I replied and we both nodded.

" So ... where do I put these luggages? And my clothes??" I asked after about an hour and a half of unpacking basic things and all necessities.

"I have a prepared cabinet and drawer dun sa may kwarto." Sagot niya, di na ako nagdagdag pa at pumunta na lamang sa kwartong tinutukoy niya.

The room was minimal but its ok, Zoe and I will split the price every month, it wasn't a bad price at all.

Sa Osaka, my school was just about less than 30 minutes to ride to, but now dito sa Kyoto my ride to my school on Neyagawa take about 50 minutes or even an hour when caught up in circumstances like traffic.

Ang university ni Zoe ay hindi naman ganon kalayo mula dito kaya magkahiwalay kami ng daan, its amazing how our friendship lasts even if we got to different schools and in different genres, I chose media arts to pursue animation and other related jobs meanwhile, Zoe took dental medicine, for some reasons.

Of course my parents are against my course, again, my family owns this company, they want me, just like my siblings to be a valuable heir and take over the company, they want me to take business administration courses and have a business major just like my sister, but after a long time of argument, they just let me choose.

I actually work at a online comic/manga publishing, they pay us good price thousand reads and right now I have over 1.6M reads per chapters and parts, which I'm really thankful for, my best story and most read story yet is the on-going comic "When Daggers Meet Rose" basically a love story, it goes with the flow of my imagination with the help of my authors and a few sponsors. I actually work hard for it and giving it my full capabilities as possible, I gained some fans and some fandoms which I'm really grateful for. I work for extra income , I don't want to go bratty and a girl who's just bitchy like asking and relying on her parent's money, I'm independently working for my other needs.

However, I think I need to work extra hard, I'm pretty sure that soon enough my Dad might actually cut off my allowance and all to supposedly teach me a lesson, I'm not that worried about tuition fee at the moment because I have a neat scholarship from our school but, soon enough maintaining a good shape of grades will be a tough challenge.

I got changed and refreshed up a bit, it's late, I'm exhausted, everything went so fast and I decided to take a rest and doze off.

It sure was a tough night.
