Dadi clapped her hands, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Shivay, Anika, it's time to cut the cake and kick off the celebration!"

As the couple approached the table, Soumya stood nearby, feeling a mix of joy and nerves

As the couple approached the table, Soumya stood nearby, feeling a mix of joy and nerves. When she glanced over, she found Rudra already standing next to Dadi, looking dapper in his suit. After the cake cutting, Tej called out, "Alright, everyone! Let's hit the dance floor!"

The room transformed as music filled the air, and couples began to pair off. Shivay and Anika moved gracefully together, Om and his girlfriend Ishana glided across the floor, and Tej danced with Janavi.

But Soumya stood off to the side, her heart pounding as she watched the festivities. Dadi noticed her solitude and called out to Rudra, who was momentarily distracted by a group of girls. "Rudra! Come here!"

With a hint of reluctance, Rudra made his way over, and Dadi gently nudged Soumya forward. "You two should dance together!"

Rudra and Soumya exchanged hesitant looks, the air thick with unspoken tension. Dadi held Soumya's hand and placed it in Rudra's, giving them a gentle push. "This pair is much better!" she beamed.

As the song "Hua Hai Aj Pehli Baar" began to play, Rudra placed his hand on Soumya's waist while she rested hers on his shoulder. Their bodies drew closer, and for a moment, the world around them faded away.

"Nice dress," Rudra attempted to flirt, but Soumya shot him an irritated look. "Really? That's all you've got?" she quipped, feeling uncomfortable with his proximity.

Rudra was taken aback by her response, a new feeling stirring inside him. Why did her irritation feel like a challenge? But as they danced, Soumya continued to avoid his gaze, leaving him feeling increasingly perplexed.

After the party wrapped up, Rudra stormed over to Om and Shivay, frustration evident in his voice. "Ugh! Soumya is totally ignoring me!"

"Did you do something to make her feel that way?" Om asked, raising an eyebrow

"Did you do something to make her feel that way?" Om asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Maybe," Rudra admitted, scratching his head. "I told her the truth—it might have hurt her feelings."

"What did you say?" Shivay probed.

"I mentioned that no boy would ever fall for a fat girl with so much attitude," he replied, shrugging nonchalantly.

"Seriously? You called her fat?" Om exclaimed, shaking his head in disbelief. "Rudra, you really don't have a brain, do you? You're a playboy who can't even figure out basic romance rules!"

Rudra crossed his arms defensively. "What's the big deal?"

Om continued, "First of all, never call a girl fat. Second, give her space! She just got here, and you already started with your nonsense. Now go to bed. You and Soumya have college in the morning, right?"

"Fine, fine," Rudra grumbled, "Good night, Shivay bhai, Om."

The next morning, the aroma of breakfast wafted through the house, but Rudra was nowhere to be found. Dadi turned to Soumya, "Why don't you wake him up?"

Soumya nodded, heading to his room. After ten minutes of gentle nudging, she sighed in defeat and turned to leave. But as she did, Rudra suddenly grabbed her wrist, pulling her closer. In his sleepy daze, he kissed her cheek, imagining it was his girlfriend.

Soumya's face flushed with anger. "What the—?!" She splashed him with water from the jug she had been holding.

"Help! Help! Tsunami!" he yelled, his voice a mix of surprise and amusement as he scrambled out of bed, drenched. When he finally opened his eyes, he saw Soumya standing there with the empty jug, her expression a mix of triumph and fury.

"Welcome to the morning!" she quipped, unable to suppress a grin.
