"Are you excited to meet her?" Virgil asked, glancing over to the drivers seat of the car where his husband Logan sat.

"I suppose I am a little excited." Logan admitted, the tiniest of smiles appearing on his face. "Although, I know nothing about children. How old is she again?"

"I dunno. She's really little, though." Virgil shrugged. "We can ask when we get there."

"That shouldn't be too long now," Logan muttered, and sure enough they arrived at their friends' house just a couple minutes later. Virgil was out of the car fast. Despite not wanting to admit it, he was really excited to meet Patton and Roman's daughter. He waited impatiently at the door, turning and gesturing for Logan to move faster. Only when he was beside of him did Virgil ring the doorbell, stepping back and nervously chewing his lip.

It took a few moments before they heard Roman behind the door, shouting something to Patton. When the door finally swung open Roman only paused to look at them for a second before throwing his arms around them in a big hug. "Virgil, Logan! It's been forever!"

Both Virgil and Logan, not being huge fans of hugging-or any physical contact-were quick to push Roman away from them. "Dude, it's only been a couple months. We live like, three hours away from here, what do you expect?" Virgil muttered, rolling his eyes.

Roman sighed, shaking his head at the pair. "I forgot just how happy and fun you are to be around, Emo Nightmare."

"Yeah yeah," Virgil laughed, looking past him. "Now let us through! We came to see the baby, not you."

"Alright, alright," Roman moved out of the doorway, allowing Virgil to step past him and rush into their house. Roman stayed back for a moment with Logan, smiling at him. "At least it's nice to see one of you again."

The two of them spoke for a minute about unimportant things as they made their way into the living room. Once there the conversation paused, and Logan took a moment to process the precious sight in front of him. Virgil was sitting on the floor in front of the couch where Patton was sitting, peering down at the baby girl in his lap with a huge grin. As Logan watched the two of them he felt his love for his husband grow stronger, and a wide smile of his own formed on his lips.

"Isn't she adorable?" Patton asked, glancing up at Logan before looking back down at Virgil and the baby. His hair was messy, and he had dark bags under his eyes like he hadn't gotten any sleep in a while, but he looked happy.

Virgil nodded at his question, not looking up from the baby's face as he spoke. "What's her name again..?"

"Amelia," He said, and almost as if she had heard him Amelia's eyes opened and she looked over at him. Her eyes wandered from her dad over to Virgil, who smiled and offered a quiet 'hi'. When she looked over at Logan he froze up for a second, unsure of what to do. After a moment of panic he decided to wave, earning a laugh from his husband and his friends.

"You wanna hold her?" Virgil asked Logan as he sat down on the floor beside of him. Logan nodded hesitantly, reaching out to gently take her from Virgil's arms into his own. He stared down at her for a moment, the smallest of smiles on his lips. She had a little bit of brown hair on top of her head, and the prettiest green eyes Logan had ever seen. Amelia stared right back at him, all of a sudden grinning widely and letting out the cutest giggle ever. Logan's small smile grew into a wide grin at the sound, the other three men gathered around each smiling as well.

"She really likes you, Logan," Patton laughed, looking over at Roman and sighing happily. Roman smiled back at him, sitting beside of Patton on the couch and holding his hand.

Logan and Virgil stayed over for a long time, awing over the baby and catching up with their friends. At the end of the day they really didn't want to leave, and wished they lived closer to Roman and Patton. Unfortunately they needed to start heading back if they wanted to get home soon, and despite how tempting Patton's offers for them to stay in the guest bedroom were they had to say their goodbyes. Soon the two of them were back in the car, starting on the long drive home.

It was silent for a while between the two of them, both disappointed at having to go so soon. It was slightly startling when Virgil finally broke the silence, looking over at his husband. "Hey, Logan.." He started, making his husband glance at him with a raised brow. Virgil took a while to get out what he wanted to say, feeling nervous about how he might react. "What'd you think about having a little girl of our own..?"

****

Some time had passed since Virgil and Logan first met little Amelia. In the three years that had passed the two of them made the decision to move closer to their friends Roman and Patton, a very good decision as it meant they got to see them a lot more often. Little Amelia was now an adorable toddler, walking and talking. Roman and Patton had recently adopted another little girl called Ivy. She had light blonde hair and blue eyes, and she was just as adorable as little Amelia had been.

However, despite how wonderful all of these things were, nothing could compare to the day that Logan and Virgil finally got to meet their own daughter. She was beautiful with her dark black hair and light blue-green eyes. She was perfect, and she was theirs to love and care for, and nothing could possibly make them any happier. Of course, their beautiful girl deserved a beautiful name, and the two of them decided that Nova was perfect for her.

With Nova in their life, things finally felt complete. Almost as if there had been one thing missing from their family, and now they had it and it was perfect. They didn't know what lay ahead of them, no clue what to expect from the future, but that was okay. They were going to figure it out together, with a little help from their friends. It was going to be an adventure for them all, and they couldn't wait for it.

Hi! I'm really excited to have finally completed the first chapter to this book! I really hope you all are as excited to read this as I am to write it, because I've got a lot of stuff planned and I can't wait to finally get it all written in here. I'm really nervous as well, which is why it's taken me a bit to finally finish this chapter, but I'm just going to upload it and hope people like it.

Now, first of all, I can not promise super consistent updates on here. I've got two other books to work on and although I do have a schedule planned to follow, I dunno if I'll actually stick to it or not. If I do, then this book should be updated every Monday. Although, even if I do follow that there will probably be more updates here and there whenever I just want to write here, which I'm sure will happen sometimes. I just like to write, haha.

Anyways, the next chapter of this book will skip forward a bit more(I'm unsure of how much it'll skip but I promise it's not too much!). This will probably focus a little more on analogical, but I swear it'll have royality moments too, and cute moments between them all as friends. Later on in the book might have quite a few chapters focused more on the kids, but for the most part it'll be about the sides raising their kids. And also-I'm 16. I haven't ever raised kids obviously, and I'm not around any kids very often, so I apologize if some things are a bit weird or wrong.

That's really all I've got to talk about here for now, and seeing as it's 7AM and I haven't slept, I should probably finish this and get some rest now. Thank you, for reading this, and I hope that you enjoy it. Please let me know your thoughts so far, even if it's only the first chapter haha. Any advice is appreciated as well! Take care of yourselves. Bye!-Bob
