As I walked home from the school I could hear foot steps behind me, I grabbed my arm nervous, I felt weird like a feeling of as if I knew something that I didn't, my stomach was twisted, I gulped hardly and jumped as I felt something grab my shoulder, I turn with a small scream.
"Jesus Christ you f*cker!" I yelled pushing ashes hand away, she smiled a bit and walked with me "sorry to give you a scare Andrew," she said, her voice sounded squeaky, like she had been crying, I threw a bottle of water at her as she nodded her head in thanks.
We kept walking "so what happened earlier?" I asked
"What do you mean?" She said back putting the water back in my bag "I mean when they called you out of the room," I zipped up my bag and kicked a rock as it skidded across the sidewalk "well-," before she could say anything we saw a man, well kinda, the face of the man was messed up, the sun was hitting my face so I couldn't get a good look.
"You is that?" I asked, Ash shrugged but grabbed my arm as we stopped, the man or thing had one overly large arm, it had a crystal looking ball thing in it large hand, I looked at the crystal and back at it's face, the thing started to walk towards us, one of it's legs looked like it was bleeding badly.
It limped towards us, then it screeched and started to limp faster, my eyes widened "RUN," I grabbed Ashes hand and ran off the sidewalk into a dirt pathway, the monster thing pushed itself up with it's large arm so it wouldn't fall.
As we ran I looked back, the thing had sharp teeth, saliva and gunk falling from it's swollen mouth. I gasped as I tripped, Ash grabbed my arm and pulled me up and kept running, I looked back to nothing "Ash it's gone," I said, we ran more out until there were no sign of a path. I sat down and grabbed the bottle and sipped some water.
"What the f*ck was that!?" She asked setting her hand on her forehead "I have no idea," I said quietly "we need to go come on Andrew," she said grabbing my shoulder, I grabbed her hand, her eyes widened, I looked at my shoulder feeling the pain spread through my neck to my back, blood was all over my arm and shoulder, a large cut spread across my trapezius to my deltoid "WHAT THE FU-," Ash put her hand over my mouth.
It was quiet, to quiet. I panted I felt the pain hit me like hard waves, I set my hand over the large wound, I must have been so scared my mind was to focused on that thing and getting away and didn't think about the BLOOD RUSHING DOWN MY BODY.
Ash helped me up, she held me around my waist with one arm, we walked back to my house, she opened the door and pushed it open with her foot "HELP!" she yelled out as my head dropped, my body went limp and all of my senses stopped and I felt myself drop.
