A month later they went to Rae's funeral to say their last goodbye and as everyone was leaving Alex and Evie was there standing by her grave looking back at the memories she gave them. They carry on with the day and walked backed to the car still in sorrow

-Time skip-

2 years later Alex and Evie were having a walk at ala moana where a lot of people were at and were just having a great time enjoying each other's company. They were shopping for stuff they needed like clothes and supplies for the house they recently moved in together. The walk ways were really crowded and they could barely see up ahead. Evie was in front of Alex trying to see where they going while Alex stayed behind and suddenly stopped. Evie turned and didn't see Alex anywhere but in a split moment everyone cleared the way revealing Alex kneeling down and a few people with roses in the back. Evie was surprised and was about to be in tears slowly walking towards Alex.

Alex: "Evie you're the only girl that truly makes me happy and cheers me up when I'm down. We've been through a lot of ups and downs and sometimes it got even worse. But eventually we made it work. You're the only person I find important in my life now and I don't know how else to explain my love for you except this.."

Alex pulls a small box and opens it to find a diamond ring inside

Alex: "Evie..Will you marry me?"

Evie's eyes were poked by the tears in her eyes and her body felt like trembling. She finally spoke the words "yes..yes I'll marry you" and jumped into Alex's arms with joy putting the ring on her finger.
