july 10, 2017 - jisoo's apartment

jisoo sat on a small white chair next to a glass table on his balcony. his apartment overlooked some beautiful green hills and a forest far away, and with the incoming sunset made the perfect chance for some artsy pictures. he had taken so many photos of sunsets in his life, but a few more wouldn't hurt.

lifting the small but bulky camera up to his eyes, he angled the lens perfectly so he would capture the beauty properly. some quick snaps and flashes, and the pictures were done. he set his camera back on the table where it had been, closing his eyes and inhaling the pine-scented air.

he had nearly began to take a nap when he heard his phone ringing. he had to admit, he enjoyed his catchy ringtone. however, he didn't like it too much when he was interrupted in the middle of being outside.

"hello?"

"hi, is this...hong jisoo?" a chipper voice came from the other end.

"uh, yes. who's speaking?"

"hi! this is byun baekhyun. I'm from melon magazine."

he was at a loss for words, wondering why someone from his favorite magazine was calling him. he didn't know what to say, but thankfully the other person started speaking again.

"we're looking for new long term photographers for the magazine, and we got word from someone that you're interested. are you up for the position?"

"yeah! I'd love to. when can I start?"

"great! come in tomorrow for the check-in and we'll get you started as soon as possible! the address is 236 ansang lane and it's near a samsung building. you'll be meeting with ceo kim."

"sounds good! thank you so much."

"looking forward to working with you, mr. hong. take care."

"you too."

he hung up, not even believing this new job opportunity. he'd been working as an intern for a small modeling agency, but it was nothing compared to this. being a photographer for korea's biggest magazine? it sounded unreal to him.

jisoo smiled to himself, thinking about all the future photoshoots he would get to do. maybe he'd be lucky and score one of those intimate shoots with a hot, shirtless male model, or even just a basic nature shoot. but the shirtless model seemed better in his mind.

he still had his phone in his hands, deciding to call a certain person.

"hello?"

"hannie, you'll never believe what just happened."

"what? did you finally manage to get a date?" he rolled his eyes a little at the comment.

"sadly, no. but I just got a new photography job, and I'm sorta starting tomorrow!"

"wow, really? where?"

"melon magazine."

jeonghan gasped clearly through the phone, causing jisoo to laugh a little.

"congrats! not only is it a great job but there's tons of attractive guys working there. who knows? maybe you'll hit it off with a top model or something."

"well, I wasn't thinking about that but now you're making it sound even better."

"oh, come on. you know that gay mind of yours was definitely having some wild thoughts about this job."

"fine. you got me there."

"hey, I'm gonna have to end this call a bit early. seungcheol and I are gonna have a little alone time if you know what I mean. sorry man, but priorities."

"right...anyway, have fun with that."

"meet up tomorrow after you go to melon?"

"of course. see ya then."

"see ya! bye."

he rolled his eyes once again, thinking about how kinky his best friend and his boyfriend were. this wasn't the first time they had a short call because of jeonghan's 'priorities'.

he shrugged, placing his phone gently on the table. it was getting dark, so he decided to take one last picture before heading inside. after taking it, he picked up his phone and camera, opening the sliding screen door and going back inside. taking one last glance at the sky, he shut the door and jumped into the small armchair near it.

for about an hour he occupied himself by scrolling through the tv channels, watching bits and pieces of any interesting shows he had come across. when it finally started to get boring, he got up to go get some pajamas from his closet.

jisoo found an old tee and some plaid pajama shorts, taking off his clothes and putting those on. he went back to turn off the tv, then ran into his room and flopped onto his bed.

he went right to sleep, dreaming of hot, shirtless guys surrounding him and his camera.
