Chapter 9

~Your POV~
The wind whipped my h/c hair. Strands of my hair blew across my face and got in my mouth. I wiped mouth removing strands of hair. The sun shone down upon me, blinding me. I shielded my eyes with my hands. My lips were as dry as the desert and when I smiled they would crack open. I licked my lips and looked to my left. A black car was speeding towards me. My instincts told me to run. So I bolted down the sidewalk. I dodged people on the way. The car was following closely behind.

I bump into Delirious.
"Woah, are you okay." I look up. My heart nearly bursting out of my chest. I nodded and stood up.
"Why where you running in the hallway, anyway?" He asked. I shrugged and walked off. He grabbed my shoulders and spun me around.

"Okay, something's up. What's bothering you?" He questions studying my face.

"Fine, fine... It's about Vanoss." I say. He gives me a confused look.

"Go on, go on."

"I don't know how to tell him... I think things are going a bit too fast. I mean we're dating two weeks into meeting each other. I barely got to know him." I say. "I just think we should slow down, that's all." I rub my neck and kick at the ground.

"Just tell him, he'll understand. He's an understanding guy." He says.

"SO YOU'RE TELLING ME YOU FORGOT THE DRUGS AT YOUR HOUSE?!" Vanoss yells from within his office.

"That's what I'm scared of." I say. A gun shot rings out. I wince.

Delirious turns back around. "If he loves you enough, he'll understand. If not, he's not the one for you." He said. I smile.

"Thanks Del, I knew I could trust you." I hug him. He hugs back.

"I'm always here if ya need me." He says. We walk towards the guys all gathered around the table.

"So our mission is to steal pizzas, from a pizza store?" Nogla asks in his thick irish accents.

"Ya." Wildcat says.

"So explain to me again why we can't just buy them?" Nogla asks.

"Well one we're broke-" Wildcat stops and turns his attention towards us. "Oh, good morning guys."

"Good morning." I say back.

"So why are we stealing pizzas?" Del asks.

"We're broke. Our bank accounts are wiped clean. Not a single penny left." Wildcat explained. "And it's funny because just yesterday we had 5 million dollars in there. So that means someone hacked into our account and stole all of it."

"What cruel people wouldn't leave us a penny!" Nogla whined.

"That's not the point Nogla! They stole all of it. And we need it back." Wildcat said playfully punching his arm. He whined in pain. "Now Craig, can you get into our account and see who was last on."

"Right on it." Mini said flipping his laptop up.

"Now Nogla go get me a beer." Wildcat demanded.

"Why do I always do it." Nogla complains.

"Because I say so. So go do it." He says. Nogla groans and walks into the kitchen. I turn to Delirious.

"I should go talk to Vanoss now. Wish me luck." I say. He crosses his fingers and smiles at me.

"Go get him tiger." He winks at me and pushed me to his door. He walks away. I study the red door and take in a deep breath. Here goes nothing.

I open the door. Vanoss was sitting at his desk glaring at his computer screen. I close the door behind me and see the dead body on the floor. I shiver.

"Hi baby." Vanoss says.

"Hi... Umm.. Can I talk to you about something." I say biting my lip.

"Yeah, come sit down."

I cautiously sit down.

"It's about... Us..." He glares at me. "U-ummmm. I think we should slow it down."

"Are you breaking up with me?" He asks abruptly.
I gasp and look into his brown eyes.
"Kinda..." He stands up aggressively making his chair fly back.

"I knew you were a slut from the beginning! Have fun being sold like the other sluts! Now get out of my room!" He yelled. I gasped and looked at him. I grabbed his hand.

"No-" He shook my hand off and slammed his fist on his desk. His eyes were filled with tears.

"Get out!" He yelled. I pushed in the chair and ran out.

Tears threatened to fall. There was a lump in my throat. I had an urge to scream and cry, to let it all out. I kept my mouth shut and forced my tears back. Instead of that I was angry. I wanted to kill something, maybe someone. I clenched my fists. And walked away from his door.

I contained my anger. Delirious was waiting for me. He hugged me.

"Did he hurt you? I heard him yelling." I shook head and hugged him back.
I heard a door slam and soon Vanoss was standing behind me.

"Oh so you left me to be with him? You really are a slut." Vanoss said.

"Jesus Vanoss calm down." Wildcat said.

"I will not calm down! You are not the boss!" He yelled.

"I'm second in command, I get to control heists and positions. And as your position as boss, you need to calm down." Wildcat said.

Vanoss stormed back to his room. 

"Jesus, what a bitch." Wildcat murmured. 

"Okay so Mini Ladd do you care to continue, after you were rudely interrupted?" Moo says.

"The last person that was on our account was Jordan." Mini says. Everyone was silent. "So I hacked into their account but it turns out this person we are dealing with is smarter than we think. There's no info about this person other than his name."

"Not on single piece of information?" Basically asks.

"Nope." Mini says popping the P. "So that means I'll have to somehow hack deeper and locate their location from the device it used to steal our money."

"Now this is why we keep you alive." Wildcat says while messing up his hair. Mini blushes.
