Chapter 23 (Last chapter)

"You have to talk to Vanoss." He said after the long conversation they had about Delirious. They were still in her room on her bed. After all that has happened these past few days, Y/n and Craig have gotten to know and like each other. They were now the closest friends in the group. If it weren't for Delirious's passing, the second closest. "He needs you just as much as ypu need him." Craig said. Y/n smiled sweetly. She was contemplating the thought of seeing Vanoss at a time like such. But now that she thinks about it, he's right. They need to see each other and talk about the whole thing.

"As much as I don't want to see himx you're right." Y/n said with a light smile. "I'll get to it." She said standing up from the bed. Crag smiled and gave her a thumbs up.

"You got this." He reassured. She giggled and left the room. During her walk to his room, she thought about what she was going to say. She was now starting to feel nervous. As she reached his room, she halted and waited there. She felt her nerves slowly cosume her. Y/n lifted her arm and knocked three times. Thumps and shuffling was heard on the other side. Shyly she stuffed her hair behind her ear as the door slowly opened.

"Y-y/n?" Vanoss stuttered. She chuckled and rubbed her arm. "What are you doing here?" He asked.

"We need to talk." She said sternly. He nodded and let her in. He then shut the door and pointed to the balcony. They both sat down on some chairs on the balcony.

"So what do you want to talk about?" He asked kind of nervous. She set her arms on her crossed legs and looked at the setting sky.

"Delirious and... us I guess." She said. Evan turned to look at her. Her eyes gleamed in the sky and her hair glowed like a million golden glow sticks. She was as gorgeous as ever. "Could we have saved him. Was there a different way around this?" He looked down at his hands and frowned.

"No, there was nothing we could've done to save him." He replied truthfully. It was her turn to look at him. She didn't want to here him say that, but he was probably right. There was nothing that the could've done differently. That was the hard truth, that was the sad truth.

"And us... what's gonna happen? How are we gonn-" she was cut off by him standing up abruptly.

"Take my hand." He said. Confused she took it and stood up. His eyes stared into hers as he smiled ever so softly. "I want you and that's that. But if you don't feel the same I-" This time she cut him off by pulling his collar and kissing him.

There lips moved in sync passionately as there hands gripped each others bodies. They loved every second. He pulled away for air and looked down at her.

"Damn Y/n-"

"Shuch up and kiss me." She demanded with a light laugh. His eyes widened then automatically shrunk. He pulled her in by her waist and pressed his lips against hers.

Since that whole incident went down, the couple went on to be girlfriend and boyfriend. They were so happily in love it was sickening to the group.

Shortly after they started dating, Tyler admitted his love to Craig and Craig admitted his love for him. They have been dating for 2 years now and are very happy.

Delirious died for a reason, and that reason was for their improvement. He died for them. He was their hero. Their lord and saviour. His picture was hung aboved the fireplace and every Christmas they acted as if he was watching over them smiling and laughing at the silly gifts they got.

As for his teddy bear, that was kept with Y/n. His hoodie too. He left those for her. And her only.

Delirious was their hero.
