Chapter 3

Bang! Sannah's locker slammed shut as she tries to balance the pile of books that she's carrying. Her Lit book decided to make it tougher when it slowly slides down onto the edge of the pile. She tried balancing it but the book is stubborn to return to its original to return to it's original place. It slowly slid near the edge and fell with a thump. Savannah sighed in frustration.

She's being too patient today and it irritates her. 2 more days of school and she's having a big break from this hellhole of a school. She picked up her Lit book and slam it on the top of her History one. She was about to arrange them when masculine arms circled her pile of books and grabbed them from her now aching arms.7 minutes of holding them sure is painful. She looked up to see who helped her.Blue extraordinary eyes stare back at her with a hint of humor.

"Hey there." Her best friend,Dean, smiled down at her.

"Oh hey." She smiled back at him. Dean Morrison sure is a cute guy.Blue eyes that has irises that changes if it's reflected by the sun, Slight pink lips that could be rarely seen on a guy,and has a nice personality. He's like an angel actually. Savannah snorted at her own description.Angel huh? Out of everything to compare Dean to and all she thought is an angel. She is so cool when it comes to describing.

Dean looked at her strangely and she just gave him an innocent grin.

"Excited for summer huh? You doing another summer job?" He asked her, taking a sharp turn to his left, heading for their Chem class.

"Erm...well not really."She answered him back, shifting her backpack.

He raised an eyebrow at her. "Well that's a first."

"Actually I didn't have a summer job last last summer. So it's not a first." She stuck her tongue out at him and Dean chuckled,

"Actually you did. You baby sat Mrs.Murphy's daughter. Don't tell me you forgot about that stuttering she does when she explains. It's sooo....stuttery?"

He nudged at her ribs which caused her to laugh.

"Don't be rude. She pays good." She wiggled her eyebrows at him making him chuckle.

"Well if it's not for the stuttering that she does, she's hell of a gorgeous woman." Dean grinned at Savannah's gaping face.

"Ewww... You're hitting on older women now?"She wrinkled her nose and gave him a disgusted face.

"No. I just find your face amusing when I say something that disgusts you." He smirked at her and stopped in front of their Chem lab.

"Sav?" Dean looked at her. He grabbed her arm, turning her so that she would face him.

"yep?" Savannah made a popping sound when she said the "p"

"I just.." Dean's face shows that he is debating on something in his head.

"yes,Dean?" Savannah looked at him, impatiently. She crossed her arms on her chest while looking at him intently.

"I just want to tell you that I-" Dean started to say when he was pushed forward. He went tripping on his feet and stumbled. Savannah looked at the person whose now grinning at her incredulously.

"Hi." Sasha, her other best friend, greeted her cheerily.

Dean groaned beside her, who was now holding his forehead as if he hit it somewhere.

"umm...hi?" Savannah greeted back, looking at her best friend and to Dean.

"Nice greeting eh? Pushing people. That's new. Why don't you try that to the principal. Maybe she's gonna love it." Dean looked at Sasha wryly.
