Brennan's pov
I look at the flowers again. I pick them up and take them to her.
"These were for you but I guess no one gave them to you."
"No one did. I thought they were from my mom or your mom."
"Well I got them and then your mom started yelling in my face. That's how my day has been going."
"I'm sorry for her."
"It's not your fault."
"Well thank you for being there."

Annie's pov
I can't believe that Brennan has liked me this whole time. I get back into reality. He got these daisies that have been there on the table the whole day and says they were for me. He really got me flowers. That's when my butterflies came in my stomach again. We talked about today. When we stopped talking, we got quiet and awkward. When I was sitting there, I couldn't talk to Brennan anymore. I had to get out of here. I broke my promise with Caleb.

Later that night, Brennan fell asleep on the chair that folds out across from me. I look around at the hospital room I'm in. I go on my phone since I can't fall asleep. I look back up, after a couple of minutes from being on my phone, and see Liv. I try to call for help but she covers my mouth before I could make a peep. She takes another knife. Why does she always comes to me with a knife? She takes it up to my neck. I see Brennan start to wake up. He looks at me worried. I look back at him calm as a sign to stay calm.
"I don't know why Brennan is with you if he was the one who made me stab you."
What is she talking about?
"I still remember when we were best friends. I can't believe you left me for his sister. She isn't great but who knows, right?"
I start to freak out. What is she planning to do?
"Well I guess this is goodbye. Do you have any last words?"
She uncovers her hand from my hand to let me talk.
"Why do hate me so much?"
"I don't hate you. You have everything that I don't have. Obviously you have the money, a best friend that cares about you, and Brennan."
"I don't have Brennan. He doesn't even like me. Besides I don't like him like that."
What am I saying? I still really like him.
"Really. So he wouldn't care if I did this?"
As she was talking, she took the and took my arm again. She made a big cut. I sat there frozen not knowing what to do. As I realized she did this, I see her being taken away by security. They took her away and I see blackness.

Brennan's Pov
I could see she didnt look very well. All I did was run for a nurse and I no longer can see since my eyes are filled with tears.
