The life of the shadows part 1

"mam?" "that door is authorized, personal, only!"

"Wa?" I said, confused. "how are you talking to me?" I say, as I glare at his eyes"

" Um, well, I'm using my mouth to talk to you!" he said sarcastically and then burst out into laughter

I didn't think it was very funny but I just tried to smile

while he's still laughing about his little joke that wasn't funny, I slip by him and go through the door anyway.

I was just curious why he wouldn't let me go through the door. I crack the door open and take a peek. there, at the other side of the room stood a shadow that was familiar to me. I opened the door slowly and walked into the big, empty room. I look at her strangely then she looked at me with tears in her eyes. I stoped as I saw her walking toward me. she had long silky black hair just like mine, except mine was Brown. she had the same eye shape and color as me.suddenly she stopped about 5 feet away from me, then she whispered "scarlet" "h,h, how do you know my name?" I replied. "it's me, your mother!" "What!?!?" I scream. I ran toward her and hugged her tight, then I could feel tears dropping from my eyes. "Darling, I haven't seen you in so long! forgive me, but how old are you now?" "13" then suddenly we were interrupted by another shadow. "Scarlett?" she said. "Angel!?!?" "mom?" she said. at that moment we all ran toward each other and hugged for about five minutes. then I suggested that we go to my house and talk. mother and Angel agreed, as we walked out the door, the same man that stopped me before yelled "there you are, I have 2 words for you... GET OUT! he yelled. shocked that he could see me and was talking to me I just stood there. until mom yanked me away and dragged me with her. finally I regained my common science and followed her. the man looked and the only thing he could see was me being pulled by air, he obviously didn't see my mother and Angel because he looked confused when they were pulling me. then, the next thing I saw was him reaching for his keys and grabbing a big black metal stick and started chasing after us then, suddenly he stopped. I looked back and saw him looking around, as if he were searching for me. I didn't think he could see me so I stopped to take a breath. Angel and mom quickly pulled me back up and we started heading to my house again. when we got there I made some bubble tea and brought out snickerdoodle cookies for them to eat. then when I came back into the room where they were... they were gone!
